Cyrax should be changed to where his ambush attacks cost 1 bar during a combo but two kameo bars if used for safety outside of a combo. That way, he has the utility during a combo, but he doesn't keep safe pressure.

Hey Bee the exact same thing happened to Scorpion in like season 2 , he got a huge damage nerf and NO ONE talked about it, wasn’t in patch notes either, but tbh Scopion was doing 45% at least for every touch back then
i can't wait to see how the kanimani performs lowpoke-stormcell-helicopter with raiden again in final kombat, it will be so much fun again, so difficult and requires so much skill. and if we are very lucky we might see pissmaker with eagly-torpedo-forcefield.....

@@Synical02 facts, this community infuriates me. Everyone gave so much praise to the ermac patch and thanking NRS and this and that and now everyone hates NRS again because this patch wasn't great. They'll fix it after final kombat and it will be all good again

Homelander has massive meterless combos (that are suppose to cost meter but just...don't) that easily corner carry from half screen and end in a block infinite set up!! To allow that for final kombat is going to be an absolute shit show. Not to mention Homelander drops out of guaranteed bnb's that work on any other character......because he needs it
Should’ve been in the patch notes, and addressed when they dropped the patch. Especially with one of the biggest tournaments for this game one week away.

Just make his net easier to combo into for every character and make the horizontal spin back to taking the entire bar and he’d be fine

At least with the Cyrax revert, he still takes FOREVER and a day to refill his kameo bar. As crazy as it sounds Janet and Khameleon are still better than Cyrax, i agree with you here
if they want to revert the changes and bring back the day 0 meta they need to change lao hat back to what it was compared to cyrax lao hat was nothing just + on block button, great mix tool and helps certain characters stay alot safer on specials but not completely safe example mileena teleports that set-up its either hold block, do d2 or armor through.
Anyone notice the added “unable to break” noise when you do a special move out of time? That is annoying.
I really don't think the Cyrax situation is bad at all. If not that many players in KL use Cyrax than it's probably not gonna affect Final Kombat, maybe we will see like 5-6 players using Cyrax at most. As for Reptile, once again, Reptile is still a top tier as he always was and regardless if the damage scaling nerf for regular Forceball was accidental just like Cyrax or not that is still fair because of the buffs for Acid Spit in the previous patch. There's nothing to worry about, Final Kombat is gonna be incredible.

It's not bogus, it's very fair since it's only a damage scaling for regular Forceball and Reptile got several buffs for Acid Spit in the previous patch.
Not a fan of the way they're going about it but i hope the half kameo bar horizontal helicopter stays. It opens up so many cyrax kombo routes and makes him fun again. Just reduce the chip dmg and he should be fine.
Scorpionprocs and tekken master barakas got a nice boost.
TekkenMaster is the most unoriginal player in NRS history. He literally finds the cheapest setups possible and abuses them to death. I hate watching him play.

Having Cyrax at full power is 100% fine at this point. If Khameleon can stay at full power, then I see no reason to nerf Cyrax.

If they are “aware of changes affecting cyrax” to me that sounds like this was unintentional… so if you made an accidental change right before FINALS why wouldn’t you correct your mistake…

Considering the buffs for Acid Spit, even if this nerf was accidental, it's still fair to have a tiny damage scaling nerf for regular Forceball.
Them not mentioning the reptile stuff (damage reversion, his hitboxes being wonky again, his forceballs causing weird white flashes) is very concerning tbh

The DLC kameos are really strong, but behind a paywall. I think a strong free kameo like cyrax should stay for people who don’t want to spend too much
Why not keep cyrax as he is right now? He already got heavy damage scaling on the up copter and if you flawless block then you don’t build meter / do damage there are kameos that do the same exact thing he does

Liu Kang has very Telegraphable block strings so it's hard for him to consistently get combos, and Lei Mei is very meter/ Kameo dependant

Dude... I know he's your main. But as a reptile main as well. I don't notice too many differences. But I've also been playing Reptile/Movado. They made Movado's up kameo less sensitive so you don't jump and call him at the same time as much.
All the differences is really just a tiny damage scaling for regular Forceball, any combo that either uses EX Forceball or no Forceball at all still has the same damage as before. I'm having Sektor as my Kameo for Reptile so I'm his Teleport Punch as an extra Zoning launch in addition to Forceball and the damage with Teleport Punch combos is still the same.

can't help myself, fighting games bring out my competative side to the max.
Tip to break baraka, if the player uses the shimmy+the second high attack, dodge the high attack with a duck and you can get a full combo out of it. If the player stop using the second part of the string, expect more overheads since it's a bit more difficult to stop the string as a poke and move into something else. Also, don't jump.

I hope they dont completely revert cyrax back to 1 bar. Before this patch i was kind of burnt out of the game. And then i saw that cyrax was buffed and, as a baraka player, that got me super excited to do all the cool stuff that that team offers. Reverting him would just make the game more stale. Khameleon is better than cyrax in terms of power, so it wouldnt make sense to revert cyrax because he is too strong, or too annoying. In my opinion khameleon is stronger and more annoying than cyrax is currently

Cyrax change should stay, he's so much more fun and goes with more kameos. They need to buff other kameos that make them more viable and more fun for more characters, not revert them.
