GTA IV was my first real GTA game I played. Prior to playing it, I thought it would glorify crime like all the media said it did, but I was definitely proven wrong. I thought I would be a pro at the game in no time, but when I first played it, I realized that it was hard as nails. I even considered never touching it again because I thought it was too hard for me, but I persisted. Now I am practically a master at the game and the universe it is set in. The car physics and the Euphoria engine blew my 14 year old mind. GTA IV is the reason why I now like some Russian music as Vladivostok FM is my favorite radio station in the game so I was very sad when almost all of the songs were removed and replaced with other tracks; some of which were good, but I didn't like most of them like the original lineup. I even have a Rockstar licensed soundtrack disc of all the music from Vladivostok FM, imported from Russia (I had gotten it after all the original songs were removed, but I play on PC now and I have modded it to have all the old songs). To this day, GTA IV is near and dear to my heart. I also still think it is leagues ahead of GTA V and I don't care what anyone says. I'm sure that when GTA VI comes out, yeah, I'll play it, but I don't think it will ever be what GTA IV was to me.
I'm just wondering why didn't you included the Episodes from Liberty City content ?? ,other than that , your content is banging, and it's even better the fact that you're describing IV as Niko's a Southern Slav , and I reckon that you're representing some Slavic part of the fam as well , greetings from Poland

When it comes to clothes I hate how little we got but I love the way they MAKE you shop for that shit you gotta go to the rack with the one thing you want and try that shit on but it or not and then repeat
I recently played GTA IV for the first time on the 360, and it's definitely a better way to play opposed to PC, if you're fine with sub 60fps, because the framerate is actually stable, I preferred the lock-on aim system to mouse aiming, no stupid removals like the radio and you can actually drive a helicopter using your hands like a regular functioning human being. Beyond that, the graphics are actually better than the PC version, which is missing some post-effects such as depth of field. And getting an Xbox 360 + GTA IV is probably cheaper than a fully priced copy of GTA IV for the PC. Haven't tried it on PS3, but it's probably better than on PC.
Im currently playing through the game for the first time, the way i would explain it and compare it to gta5 is gta4 focuses on a dark story and realism over gameplay, meanwhile gta5 focused on fun gameplay with the story being sacrificed
Watch Dogs Legion is under rated, at least it tried something new and it's map was outstanding in terms of detail and daring to break away from the US.
Grand Theft Auto IV is the best game of the franchise and is my favorite game in general. The story and characters are phenomenal. Niko Bellic is still my favorite protagonist as he both wants a fresh start, but wants revenge for what happened to him during the war and so he’s not as committed to the fresh start that many who come to America would want. He’s a very complex character and I love playing this game every year from scratch. The journey is truly amazing and no matter the ending, it’s not a completely happy ending for Niko as he loses someone he loves. It’s tragic, yet very excellent in terms of the storytelling and characterizations of the various characters we see in the game. I’m glad GTA IV has been getting more and more love as time has gone on. I’ve loved it ever since I played it back when it came out on April 29, 2008 and I love it now. Thanks for the video man, I hope you’re doing well. Keep up the great work and take care!
The driving is perfect because of it’s literally the weight of a car you’re having to work with I figured letting go of gas getting the timing on the breaks and turns makes this game look like it’s a need for speed clone if you’re good enough with it the fact people still complain about it are probably cause they’ve never driven a car, and I BARELY have but the game is spot on with the times I have drove one Edit: motorcycles are the only thing I agree with here cause god why CANT I TURN
Grand Theft Auto 4 along with Episodes From Liberty City, is the greatest GTA experience to date, in my opinion. It's characters and stories are superior to those in the overrated GTA5. And GTA6 looks to be following the same lighter tone as 5. So unless it has 2 expansions that equal the one's from 4, in both story and characters, then GTA6 won't be better either.
I was playing tbogt today and I remembered a feature that you were able to pick up bricks and throw them at people I did and an npc pulled a knife and started stabbing tf out of me 😂
i like the stories in GTA IV trilogy, especially when the paths of the protags from the 3 games intertwine in some missions. Sadly we couldn't play them in the same game like the trinity in GTA V. Also, I hate the vehicle handling in GTA IV that I have to use *GTA V vehicle handling* mod in order to make driving doable & enjoyable
You need a jose stick controller to use motorcycles properly !!!! Leaning forward makes u turn very sharp. Use a controller and bikes are soo good . Best in any game and i own a bike in real life to
@wildgold it's because you do not lean forward when u turn the bike . You have to lean forward and backwards to get the bikes to handle perfect . U need more experience on the bikes
@@wildgold you have to lean forward and back wards with niko to really get the bikes to maneuver . I've had many motocross bikes and raced . If your really going fast , on level ground leaning forward to get your weight off the rear tire really does help u turn . In certain conditions. Gta 4 is real life physics just exaggerated. It works in real life . Just not as drastically
@@wildgold you also have to figure out which key is for which brake. Like on pc the spacebar is for the back brake of the bike and the 'S' key is for the front brakes.
i have never seen your face because i used to watch the hitman content then boom stop now i come back and then i see your face you look like a teenager honestly
Gta 4 is still ahead of its time. Especially when it comes to its successors. The Car driving behavior, especially when it comes to corners. Car damage, bullet holes, ragdoll physics, parkour, explosions, etc. Gta 5 on the other hand seems cheap, as if it hadn't made the slightest effort and comes across as if it were the unfinished predecessor.
Rockstar is definatly one of the best developers while they launched terrible remasters and online service they do not fall when comes to making the actual game they have 0 bad games only Bad remaster aside from that every game is a masterpiece
The many reasons 1. Nostalgia 2. New players think it’s better simply because they’ve never played it before. 3. “Dark Story” 4. That fucking crowbcat video
I've never heard of #2 before I'd anything they were the ones that hadn't played it and said it wss old and sucked. I've been on RUclips along time and I have witnessed the shift from the Older ppl like my self being 30 says gta4 is better which it is and it were the ppl saying gta5 was that had to the ppl still in high-school after it's release
Wait a minute, motorcycles and helicopters are not broken... It's your lack of skills 😂 The turning ratio on the bike is long because you are going too fast and there's keys on the helicopter for turning the back rotor and make it turn faster. And the bike acts like a drift car because that's whats happens when you pull the entire throttle at once. On controller you can control the amount of pressure but just as me you play on the keyboard, so try to modulate with your finger to emulate an analog signal.
It also helps leaning forward to turn the bikes very sharp. Then lean back to exit the corner fast . The guy has no clue how to drive the bikes or helicopters
I'm sorry but based on this footage you're just not very good at driving or flying helicopters in this game, its not easy to get used to but the helicopters are very nimble when flown correctly and the cars can be tamed to make tight turns with the help of a scandinavian flick and sometimes handbrake.
i played GTA 4 a lot last year (i got it by pirating it) and using mods n all that. reliving what most og gta 4 players had when the game first came out. The only reason I played gta 4 is because I couldn't afford gta 5 at the time, and now that my friend gifted me gta 5 on steam. i get to relieve what most og gta 5 players had but with weird physics and "next-gen" graphics. safe to say, I might have to wait 3 years or so till i can either pirate gta 6 or if my friend has enough money to gift it to me.
I agree that GTA 4 is amazing, but the vehicle handling was the absolute worst part about the game! The cars felt more boat-like than they did like actual cars! Motorcycles were awful too! Easily the worst and unrealistic vehicle handling of ANY GTA game ever made! A LOT of people gave up on GTA 4 because of it lol!

The driving is perfect because of it’s literally the weight of a car you’re having to work with I figured letting go of gas getting the timing on the breaks and turns makes this game look like it’s a need for speed clone if you’re good enough with it the fact people still complain about it are probably cause they’ve never driven a car, and I BARELY have but the game is spot on with the times I have drove one
Edit: motorcycles are the only thing I agree with here cause god why CANT I TURN
I've been actually wanting to try this game out, maybe I'll do it
GTA 4 is my favourite for the HD era of GTA games and I hope GTA 6 will get better.
Because it's a great game.
And it also got bowling.
I was playing tbogt today and I remembered a feature that you were able to pick up bricks and throw them at people I did and an npc pulled a knife and started stabbing tf out of me 😂
This game is story is Legendary!
I literally had a dream I was driving in vice city. It felt so real I had gotten up 😢😂
i like the stories in GTA IV trilogy, especially when the paths of the protags from the 3 games intertwine in some missions. Sadly we couldn't play them in the same game like the trinity in GTA V.
Also, I hate the vehicle handling in GTA IV that I have to use *GTA V vehicle handling* mod in order to make driving doable & enjoyable
Stupid yokel😂 is one of my favorite lines
7:00 everybody! on the ground suka
You need a jose stick controller to use motorcycles properly !!!! Leaning forward makes u turn very sharp. Use a controller and bikes are soo good . Best in any game and i own a bike in real life to
The bike handling isn't bad, it just becomes buggy if your fps goes over 60. Cap your fps to 60, it'll be fine and drivable.
I capped it at 60 from the very start
@wildgold it's because you do not lean forward when u turn the bike . You have to lean forward and backwards to get the bikes to handle perfect . U need more experience on the bikes
@@thestrangechannelofjeff7426That's not how motorcycle's work.
Everyone except Rockstar apparently, since after all these years they didn't even care to port gta 4 to ps4...
i have never seen your face because i used to watch the hitman content then boom stop now i come back and then i see your face you look like a teenager honestly
for real
you didn't even mentioned the multiplayer which was incredibly fun, and MUCH better than that abortion that was V.
Bro when Hitman vid
Gta 4 is still ahead of its time. Especially when it comes to its successors. The Car driving behavior, especially when it comes to corners. Car damage, bullet holes, ragdoll physics, parkour, explosions, etc. Gta 5 on the other hand seems cheap, as if it hadn't made the slightest effort and comes across as if it were the unfinished predecessor.
Where is the Elusive Target Ranking Videos?
There's a playlist on my channel page.
The red dead redemption 2 of gta's
so much side content for a humble bowling simulator
I think they made a mistake with splitting the GTA5 story between 3 characters.... GTA4 is still my favorite closely followed by Vice City!
I have a question, i think you're the original and no hate, but who did come first when it comes to HITMAN, you or Mrfreeze2244
Rockstar is definatly one of the best developers while they launched terrible remasters and online service they do not fall when comes to making the actual game they have 0 bad games only Bad remaster aside from that every game is a masterpiece
Personally i feel like why people play gta4 when mafia 2 exist
The many reasons
1. Nostalgia
2. New players think it’s better simply because they’ve never played it before.
3. “Dark Story”
4. That fucking crowbcat video
the driving and writing was better tho to me ngl
I've never heard of #2 before I'd anything they were the ones that hadn't played it and said it wss old and sucked. I've been on RUclips along time and I have witnessed the shift from the Older ppl like my self being 30 says gta4 is better which it is and it were the ppl saying gta5 was that had to the ppl still in high-school after it's release
No hitman 😢
It's weird how no one cared about GTA4 until 2023/2024
Glubtastic.
Great content mate, actually made me want to reinstall, keep it up and much love from Romania!
EDITING 🧊🧊🥶🥶
I play GTA 4 in 2024 and I use fashion fix mod to play the game on PC and i love it
Wait a minute, motorcycles and helicopters are not broken... It's your lack of skills 😂
The turning ratio on the bike is long because you are going too fast and there's keys on the helicopter for turning the back rotor and make it turn faster.
The guy has no clue how to drive the bikes or helicopters
not everyone in fact everyone was hatingit when its came out lol
Why everyone loves GTA IV is because that game was the last good game❤❤❤❤❤
Not everyone. There are such a many prics, who hate GTA IV...
namely Rockstar Games
@@huiAPPOAJ ordinary people too
Vehicles are much easier to drive on pc
Gta 4 is good but gta 5 is the best
I'm sorry but based on this footage you're just not very good at driving or flying helicopters in this game, its not easy to get used to but the helicopters are very nimble when flown correctly and the cars can be tamed to make tight turns with the help of a scandinavian flick and sometimes handbrake.
Boost
i played GTA 4 a lot last year (i got it by pirating it) and using mods n all that. reliving what most og gta 4 players had when the game first came out.
Sorry, but I like GTA IV more than GTA V. 😇❤️😊💯
If you want to cancel on a friend and not lose their trust, accept it and then call them back and cancel and you won't lose any
I agree that GTA 4 is amazing, but the vehicle handling was the absolute worst part about the game! The cars felt more boat-like than they did like actual cars! Motorcycles were awful too! Easily the worst and unrealistic vehicle handling of ANY GTA game ever made! A LOT of people gave up on GTA 4 because of it lol!
