I have suggested in other videos of the Gurkha 6.2 that they should sell a version without the head unit and let the buyers buy their own. As for the seats, I agree with you. Innova captain seats are a good option for the middle row. The rattling of the Innova seat is because the rails or the rollers of the seat are worn out as it's a used item and has nothing to do with Force Motors. You were aware of the seats being cramped before you bought it. All the modifications you have mentioned about have been on my mind too, ie. if I had the stomach for the risks involved while buying this vehicle.

I was thinking to buy a new updated Gurkha but after seeing this now i don't feel like to go for gurkha ...there is thar roxx and its a very good vehicle instead of Gurkha...thank you brother for this information ℹ️ℹ️ℹ️
@@vetset3085 I’m still shuttling to workshop, The next visit on Monday : 16 visit in 4 month. 1) the gear box is still leaking and tight. 2) DPF regeneration is happening in less than 100km, which means there is a malfunction. They are yet to fix this. Which also cause huge mileage loss. And engine damage eventually. 3) Low quality bushes, boots, gaskets etc - which leads you replace this frequently : my excel boot is gone twice already. 4) Engine side oil sweat is happening because of low quality packing. 5) vehicle is full of rattle noises : sometime from steering, bumper, seats 6) Vibration So, if you are looking for a problem free vehicle, don’t buy. If this is your weekend TOY, and you take this once in a while, then go ahead and buy it. But be prepared for frequent workshop visits! More than joy, this Gurkha is given me lots of mental agony. Whenever I go somewhere; I’m mentally prepared for a breakdown and coming back by a bus/or any public transport systems.
They should just replace your gearbox. The spring or the balls on the synchromesh ring associated with the 2nd gear may be faulty. This is a manufacturing defect. It's a two day repair if the parts are available.
Sir, How many kilometers your vehicle travelled and when did you obsevred this gear issue. Generally i observed gear notching in demo vehicle. I felt when we release clutch pedal after full press and try the gear switch to 1st and 2nd gears it went smoothly so may be clust is stopping the gear slotting.
DPF has cleaned and returned the vehicle. FM has yet to give a permanent solution for it. Not only my case. For all vehicles, their RND is going on. It seems like Bangalore Delaer stopped selling until the problems were fixed.
You've exposed the trueself of the Gurkha, the 2021 Gurkha had a lot of issues & in 2024 they came up with upgrade & this is their upgrade....... a sheer mockery...

Brother Gurkha s gearbox is g32 same Asin many travellers , go to best traveller mechanic n u will be sorted in 2-3 hrs and then enjoy. U can ask all the owners u have to get Gurkha fixed in the start then slowly u will start loving it

@@MjB-369 I may got severe problematic one but BS6.2 has common complaint of gear box malfunction (as far as I know from whomever i connected the new owners). Today they are dismantled the gear box and doing operation 😌

But, oru karyam, Force will fix this after you getting the vehicle, that is too if you report and pressure. For them it’s may not be feasible do the fix while vehicle delivery as these all units they manufactured way before the launch. (it maybe better fix and get the vehicle) As far as I know, this gear fix they are doing on the first vehicle, may be our Gurkha. The service head was mentioned that. Hoping for best.

u r right, after spending 22 lacs atleast mechanics of the car should be good.
There is no Gurkha in market without issue. But once fixed u r fine, its part of ownership, u will be friends with good mechanics
