Mary, thanks so much for posting this gift card instructions!!! I watched it the other night before bed and thought they were really cute. Then I was in a pinch for something to put cash in for two teenaged relatives. Guess what? I ran downstairs and whipped up a couple of these gift holders and tucked some cash in them. Very quick and easy and I used the deer punch for one and the penguin punch for another. You are a lifesaver!!

I just subscribed to your channel. Love this easy way to make gift cards. If I wanted to make it a little smaller, say if I started with a 4x8, how would I score that? I would really appreciate your advice.

Can you advise me ? When I use the mini emboss machine I always have trouble starting it. I turn the handle and nothing moves. I adjust the plates so they are not perfectly even but nothing works. I don’t know the magic placement so they get pulled through right away every time. Thanks. Kathy
hmmm. Usually adjusting the plates works. Try matching up top and bottom plates but pushing the middle one down about an inch. Let me know if that works. If not, we can facetime and try each of ours together at the same time and compare what we each are doing.
