- We have a 2014 Toyota Camry with foggy headlight assemblies that need to get replaced. I'll show you step by step on how to change these on your Camry with or without fog lights. I replaced with aftermarket headlight assemblies. This procedure applies to the 2012 2013 2014 models, 2015 2016 2017 will be very similar too. #toyota #camry #headlights #diy

Super helpful video! Everything was exactly where he said it was! I managed to not have to take off the entire bottom panel though. Great video very informative
Just received my new headlight light assemblies. You made it look very easy! Thanks!
As many others have said. Very well done video. Even put the project back together which is believe it or not is helpful.
Just did this to my wife 2010 corolla, looks like a brand new car!
Good job showing bud, Iam replacing my wife's headlamp housings cause the old ones are so yellowish, and sun damaged, thank u for the help
Thank you! Glad the video was helpful!
Awesome simple video! 👍 no 45min tutorial ! Thank you 🤝
Thanks! Glad it was helpful!
Great video, quick and all the clips & screws needed to be removed.
Thanks for watching!
Thank you 🙏 simple and quick explanation,
Very helpful video with my install and it took me an hour and 10 minutes
Nice! Not bad on the installation time!
You have to take the whole god damn bumper off to change a headlight brilliant engineering
I would say most headlight assemblies are like that now, gone are the easy replacement days.
Hilarious 😂
My 15 ford fusion was the same way. So damn annoying. I was hoping my Toyota avalon wouldnt be like that but im guessing its the same as this
Clear and concise video explanation. Nice job.
Much appreciated!
Thanks/ Good demonstration.
Same/similar to 2006 Corolla headlights that I did a few years ago. Good video. Quick, to the point, no BS.
Thanks! 👍
well done looks great. Thanks for sharing
Thanks for watching!
Thank you brother
💯
Thank you my dear 💐
👏👏👏 👍 👏👏👏
Replacing headlights is the best way. People will spend tons of money and time wasted on those headlight restore kits that last maybe a year. After they buy 3-4 of those kits at $15-20, a new set of headlights will have paid for themselves lol.
I completely agree!!
Don't forget to plug in fog lights
I’m only replacing the passenger light today. I wonder if I can just peel the passenger side bumper back just to expose the bolt ????
And not have to remove the whole thing.
You might be able to do that, but it also could be more trouble than it's worth with it in the way.
It worked.
I left the skid plate on.
Took off the top plate.
Peeled the fender back after I took out the 2 clips by the tire and was able to get the Bolt out.
For the front grill, i needed a few clips removed.
Took me about 1/2 hour.
Nice work!
Great video @carsyoucanfix ! I have a '13 Avalon and need to replace my headlamp assemblies as well as fog lamp assemblies. Is it very different? Any links to videos I can watch for that?
Thank you! The Avalon is actually very similar to the Camry in regards to changing out the headlight assemblies. This video should be able to help you get the job done, may just be a few different clip locations, but most of it is the same procedure.
@@CarsYouCanFix thanks a lot!
Very helpful!
Thanks! Appreciate the comment!
Excellent video!
Thanks for watching!
This video was awesome. Can I ask how long it took you to do thing in real time?
This took a little more time than usual just due to the filming and getting certain scenes, but on average something like this would take about 30-45 minutes assuming you have all the tools and worked at a steady pace.
Great job
Thank you!
Didn't show anything being done with the bulbs....do you just swap out from the existing into the new unit, or do new bulbs (low beam, high beam, turn signal) need to be purchased?
Most assemblies will come with new bulbs already installed, which is what these had. Just double check the description if bulbs are included or not
This actually is for 2012-14. 11 is a different body style though may be a similar procedure
You are right! Thanks for bringing to my attention!
Are these headlights from eagle eye? If so are you having any distance problems with them?
No, I have links in the description area.
Nice video
Thanks!
Thanks!
Why do people do this ? For appearances? I’m looking for a way to get better lighting and my 11 LE isn’t as great as other Camrys and Corollas I’ve driven . I’m trying to find a way to get better lighting and that might just be better bulbs
Yes mostly for appearances due to the lenses fogging up. For my personal car I put in LED headlights, but I have OEM projector lenses. You may need to buy projector style assemblies like these amzn.to/3GMEB8n and then you can upgrade to LED or HID lights for better lighting. A lot of times if you just put in LED headlights on a stock assembly it just throws the light everywhere and it looks like you have your brights on to oncoming traffic.
Iam replacing my wife's headlamps do to sun damage, and yellowing
@@jerryzigler1313 well you could do that but there are cleaning methods that work and get it looking like new
@@frankmontez6853if people want to spend the money to replace headlight assemblies, why not? It’s not cheap, but if people have the money I’m not gonna judge how they use it. It’s not my money.
Cleaning/polishing is temporary fix. Headlights for these cars aren't that expensive.
You wouldn’t happen to be near Tampa fl would ya?
LOL, not opposed to visiting the area one day!
All that for some damn headlights lol
