Maybe you know the answer to this, if I add a second phone to the system, is there a way to set one phone over another as priority? Thanks for the great video. It has helped me a lot.
Yes I have a question about android auto display on the screen on my 21 f150. Pandora icon shows at the bottom instead of my phone icon, how do I remove the pandora icon?. Thank you
Thanks for the video! Not sure if you would know but if I have the GAIA app on my android phone, will I be able to use it and its features on the 12" screen without referring back to my phone?
The answer is... MAYBE. Gaia did not immediately work on my new Bronco - it would not appear in the Android Auto app drawer. The only way to get it to work was to go through the App projection menu options in Sync 4 settings and force your phone to join to a vehicle created wifi network. Once that was done - Gaia can appear in the AA app tray as it should. I think Ford needs to enable Gaia (and OnX) as a Sync 4 supported app for it to work as it should. And Gaia wil not take over the full 12" screen, only the left side 8" pane.
Why do you think the Play All has been disabled while vehicle is in motion? Why is Play All not a voice command? It was in my 2015 F150 but my 2022 F150 with Sync4 has been downgraded in this command????? I don’t understand
With sync 3 the voice interaction button on the steering wheel would allow me to control android auto. With sync 4 I can only control the Ford system. For instance, I can't push the voice button on the steering wheel and request android auto to play a song on spotify. Is there a setting I am missing, or did Ford remove this capability in Sync 4?
my music app (double twist) automatically starts playing when I start my truck (bluetooth connected). Settings in app to auto play are turned off...any suggestions?
Moto Z2, Android 9. Basic Android Auto screen is seen on my phone. Will not fire up Android Auto on the Sync 4 screen. No mention of Android Auto on the Sync 4 screen. I even connected to Projector Wifi network, nothing. I entered a Nav destination on my phone and the destination/trip showed up in the Sync 4 Nav screen. Wondering if a new phone would fix the issue.
@@carsunlocked Now it works. Same USB to USB c cable. Went to take a pic of the dash as proof and the USB shuts down (maybe camera related versus loose USB cable?) Good Lord. Tech! But hey, that's part of why we buy this Powerboost! Thanks for your help! Keep up the great videos. 👍
@@carsunlocked So I guess no wireless capability either Bluetooth or WIFI. Even though my phone is connected to the truck's wifi and I turned on Projection I think it was called.

@@carsunlocked I figured it out. It's a push and hold to activate car play or android auto.

@@carsunlocked Don't Worry
