This is frequently know as the song where Mitch doesn't breathe. There are a couple live performances where he sings that long first couple of verses with no apparent breaths. It's a little harder to tell in this because the camera cuts away, but I still never hear a breath. I love the complex harmonies and different stacked notes they sing - it's amazing. There's an interview with Matt about this song and he says its one of the most complex that they do because the parts are all so intricate and it only takes one person off a beat or a note and things fall apart. Luckily they are professional enough that I doubt that happens much. Thanks for reacting to this - still one of my faves.
Check out their cover of You’re A Mean One, Mr. Grinch! It really displays Matt’s talents well and is really fun. And yes they have (I believe) 8 Christmas albums if you can believe it!
Love watching you react to Pentatonix! O Come All Ye Faithful is my second favorite Christmas song of theirs, right behind Mary Did You Know. Another amazing one is Dance of the Sugarplum Fairy from the Nutcracker. It's a song with no words sung by a group with no instruments!
So I love watching your reaction tell you to sit there stun the entire time. Kind of cracks me up. They have multiple Christmas albums! And they have a few original songs they just released 1 this year called please Santa please it's an original! And able to put you right in the Christmas mood! Enjoy and reacting
This used to be my ringtone and I swear I didn't change it until after 3 years haha Yes react to the full album! It's called That's Christmas To Me, the first of six studio Christmas albums, one EP and two compilation albums with a few extra songs. Their newer one came out for this Christmas called The Greatest Christmas Hits. They're on their Christmas tour right now. Other Christmas songs I recommend are Little Drummer Boy, Angels We Have Heard On High, Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy, White Winter Hymnal, Winter Wonderland/Don't Worry Be Happy feat. Tori Kelly, Silent Night, That's Christmas To Me (original), Joy To The World, The First Noel, God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen, Coldest Winter, O Come All Ye Faithful, Away In A Manger, Where Are You Christmas?, Rockin' Around The Christmas Tree, What Christmas Means To Me, Making Christmas, Sweater Weather, Grown Up Christmas List feat. Kelly Clarkson, Deck The Halls, You're A Mean One Mr.Grinch, Do You Hear What I Hear? feat. Whitney Houston, God Only Knows, Prayers For This World, 12 Days of Christmas, My Favorite Things, Thank You (original), Over The River feat. Lindsey Stirling, Kid On Christmas feat. Meghan Trainor (original), Christmas In Our Hearts feat. Lea Salonga, Please Santa Please (original), Kiss From a Rose Pure Imagination/Christmas Time Is Here and O Holy Night.
If you want more Pentatonix a cappella "instrumentals" I recommend "Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy" and "Waltz of the Flowers." Neither has words. Both of them are from Tchaikovsky's "Nutcracker Suite," and they were intended to be played by a full orchestra, which Pentatonix apparently considers to be a dare. They won their second Grammy for "Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy."
No one does Christmas better than PTX. Had the pleasure of seeing their Christmas concert live in 2021. If you haven’t seen them do “Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy”, you should add it. They won a Grammy. Side note: Jung Kook just released the performance mv for his remix of “Standing Next to You” with USHER!
This is a great vocal rendition of Carole of the Bells. A little bit too traditional for a Metal Gal like myself.🤔😅 I prefer the Lyric Noel from Texas, Metal version.😱😍😃 For those that did not know, Carol of the Bells was a Ukrainian Folk song about sheep before it was turned into a Christmas Carol. May I request a Holiday season performance by Dimash Qudaibergen "Wind"? Please use captions as it is performed in Kazak. Very beautiful holiday season song.❤❤❤ Thank you. 🥰🥰Best wishes from a Canadian Dear🇨🇦

I am sad that another reactor TOTALLY missed the fact that Mitch sang on 1 breath for 36 seconds. Actually, only a few reactors noticed it! 🎶🎶👱♀👱♀👗👗👠👠❤❤
I've always has mixed feelings about Pentatonix. I think their music is great. Really amazingly talented group of people that I thoroughly enjoy listening to, but for some reason I can't stand looking at them. Have no idea why that is, but I think it might have to do with some of the weird facial expressions they have to make in order to produce certain sounds. It simultaneously entertains and annoys the hell out of me. So I stick to just listening to them.
My favorite live version of their performance of Carol of The Bells is from "Christmas Under The Stars". Can't seem to find it on RUclips anywhere, though. 🫤
They just released a new video yesterday. It is their version of O' Holy Night. It is the best version of that song that I have ever heard.
Thank you Nick. BTW PTX just dropped the video for "Oh Holy Night".. put on your seat belts

I swear he has secret gills
Don't you know angels don't need to breath.
I believe I read somewhere that they dug a hole for Scott to stand in for this song that’s why he doesn’t seem as tall in this video lmao.
They have 5 or 6 Christmas albums…I forget exactly how many. I second the requests for their new Oh Holy Night, it’s stunning.
It's 8 actually...I know...that's a LOT, right?😲
And I 3rd all requests for O Holy Night ( newest version)

They have so many Christmas albums out. The most recent this year. They are Christmas to me.
They have SEVEN Christmas albums out now!

Mitch’s breath control is opera worthy.
