I really want to go to Duke and I’ll like to major in applied mathematics because math has been my favorite subject since I was a kid and I enjoy it a lot but I’m not a fan of programming.
Hi, don't tether your dreams to any one institution. Remember you'll be an undergraduate wherever you're accepted. And no undergraduate experience is better than the other. They're all good. Don't fall into the "labels" routine. And at the professional school level. not one argument can hold which says Harvard provides better professional training than, say, Stanford! You'd be breathing equally rarefied air at Stanford, UT, SMU, UCLA, UDub -- get the picture?
Here's hoping that anyone selecting Duke is that hopefully it'll provide a solid base undergraduate education that'll prepare them to interact constructively in an increasingly competitive and diverse world. But latest reports about ugly vestiges of yore taking place in a frat cause concern. With Americans of Asian descent making themselves a force for good all around, shouldn't Duke students think carefully about the future? Duke one day might have a president of Asian descent!
I'm in 7th grade Duke said if i do good in the college exam i can go to duke with a scholarship and remember i'm in 7th grade like if you wish me good luck :D shout out to k12
OMG SAME! I’m taking my SAT for the scholarship this Saturday and I’m really really scared. This school looks super cool and I think it would be cool to go here!
I really, really would like to be accpeted into Duke University, but sadly, I probably won't get in.
You are more than a name of a school.

Yeah...you just need to be from somewhere besides Durham or NC. They really like it if you're from the Northeastern US. Oh, and rich also!
Duke admissions are need-blind and they meet 100% of all financial need, so that's not a factor at all in getting in.
Got into Duke for grad school! Love the school but will be attending UNC
aczdcsdcsdc Im really interested in going to an ivy for grad school, how different are requirements for graduate school compared to undergrad?
Rasul, I am in 7th and got a similar message.
