Oh wow this is a deep cut! I don't think I've ever seen any international reactor check out Doberman Infinity. Even when it comes to international LDH / Exile Tribe fans, most of them pretty much overlook Doberman Infinity because DI is not an Exile Tribe group. And that's super unfortunate because overall, DI (Doberman Infinity) has one of the best discographies out of all LDH groups. My absolute favorite DI song is "We are the one", so I will always recommend it! Also, the group has released a Japanese cover of the 1992 song "Jump Around" (originally by House of Pain), which is a go-to for anyone who wants to get into them. A little summary about the group & their history: Doberman Infinity originally started as an underground / indie Hip-Hop unit named DOBERMAN INC in 2000, with all members being MCs / rappers. Back then, the line-up consisted of 5 members: KUBO-C, GS, P-CHO, Tomogen and MAB. In 2004, the unit made their major debut under a big record label. In 2006, MAB left the unit. In 2008, the group became affiliated with LDH and started being managed by the company. In 2013, Tomogen left the group. Down to 3 members, the remaining line-up (KUBO-C, GS, P-CHO) decided to add new members in 2014. Those were Kazuki (vocalist), a finalist of the Vocal Battle Audition 4 (an audition by LDH to find vocalists for THE RAMPAGE), and SWAY (rapper), an actor & member of the theater troupe Gekidan EXILE who was already part of LDH. The new line-up changed their name to Doberman Infinity. So DI was originally not formed by or part of LDH, but became affiliated to the company later on. Also, the unit did not have a vocalist until the addition of Kazuki in 2014, and is still mainly a Hip-Hop group with 4 rappers. Furthermore, the members' skills are essentially self-made, and as you've seen, they do not dance. For these reasons, they have a completely different vibe than other LDH groups, and are super unique even within the company. The vocalist of the group, Kazuki, also started a solo career in 2023 under his birth name, Hayashi Kazuki! He's absolutely incredible, one of the best singers in LDH imo, and his solo work is mainly R&B which fits his voice perfectly. Also, the rapper you pointed out in the song "OH YEAH!!" (with the "Ride this Body" line) is SWAY, who is also an actor! He actually has a solo career as a rapper too, which he officially started in 2018. I feel like you'd really like his solo stuff too, I can really recommend his debut album "UNCHAINED"! Also, yes, one of the actors you see in the "Do Or Die" mv is Machida Keita, who plays Karube in "Alice in Borderland" and has been in other famous projects like "Cherry Magic" and "YuYu Hakusho"! Machida Keita is also part of Gekidan EXILE (like SWAY), which is a theater troupe made up of actors that is also part of Exile Tribe. If you watch jdramas or jmovies, I can really recommend to check out Gekidan EXILE, you will probably see a lot of familiar faces! Something that is important to mention too is that BALLISTIK BOYZ was formed as a collaboration between Exile Tribe & Doberman Infinity. Basically, the members of Ballistik Boyz were personally trained by DI, and a lot of their music is also produced by members of DI. Imo you can really hear DI's influence in Ballistik Boyz' music and also the members' rapping styles. Lastly, a little trivia: The original members (KUBO-C, GS, P-CHO) are all many years older than the 2 members that were added in 2014. KUBO-C, GS and P-CHO are currently in their mid 40s, SWAY is 38, and Kazuki is 33. Also, all members except Kazuki are married. KUBO-C, P-CHO & SWAY have children too.

I think that's one of the first surprises people face when they get into J-Pop and have been into K-Pop before (including me). The most influential Japanese entertainment companies manage hundreds of artists, actors, models, comedians & even athletes at the same time, and are deeply involved inthe production of movies & TV programs. And LDH is not even part of the top5 biggest companies! Probably in the top10, but there are many entertainment companies much bigger & more influential in Japan. One of my favorite little trivias is that the show "Alice in Borderland" essentially has 4 actors/actresses that are connected to Exile Tribe: Machida Keita who plays Karube & Aoyagi Sho who plays Aguni are both members of Gekidan EXILE, Exile Tribe's theater troupe, and are thus directly members of Exile Tribe. Tsuchiya Tao who plays Usagi & Asahina Aya who plays Kuina are both married to Exile Tribe members - Tao is married to Katayose Ryota (member of Generations) and Aya is married to Yamashita Kenjiro (member of Sandaime J Soul Brothers)! Imo one of the defining aspects of LDH as a company is how it has a total lassez-faire policy towards the lives of their artists. The company absolutely does not care what their artists are doing outside of the job, as long as it is legal & not super scandalous lol That's why the company does not even respond when dating rumors come up, and lots of its artists are married with children. Of course, there are always some fans who act up when artists are revealed to be dating or announce their marriage. But that's very much the minority when it comes to LDH fandoms, and the company doesn't give a damn about those fans lol
True some artists under the LDH label, get lost in the EXILE TRIBE “crowd”. DOBERMAN INFINITY and other artists that don’t include the (from EXILE TRIBE) are like the cousins of the family. Same goes for the girl groups which are “sisters” to EXILE TRIBE. It’s tougher for them unless they are mentioned by either the fans or are included in the EXILE TRIBE live concerts.

Thinking about it, LDH is probably the youngest out of all the agencies that belong to the "top league". (if you're curious, some other agencies in that league that are much older & more influential are Starto Entertainment (formerly known as Johnny's Entertainment), Stardust Promotion, AMUSE, Watanabe Entertainment, Yoshimoto Kogyo, Avex, Up-Front Promotion / Group, etc.) (there are also some up-coming agencies that will definitely belong to that league soon, like ASOBISYSTEM, Platinum Production, DEARSTAGE, LAPONE Entertainment & BMSG) Being a fan of & following both J-Pop & K-Pop artists is so interesting because at first glance the two industries seem very similar, but the deeper you get into it and the more experience you have with how both industries operate, the more apparent the differences become. Every agency is J-Pop is just sooo different, from their system, creative output, management methods, rules to the artists & idols themselves. Everything I've mentioned about LDH can be completely different for other companies. Truly no agency is like another in J-Pop, and each has something like their own "ecological niche" in the industry. This is amplified by the fact that there is not much centralization in the J-Pop industry, meaning every agency essentially operates in their own bubble, so that even fandoms of different agencies rarely interact or even cross paths! For example a person can be a fan of a J-Pop artist from a specific agency for a decade, but still don't know anything about other agencies and their artists/idols. This is very differnt from K-Pop where idols & artists from different agencies are regularly present at the same place (i.e. music shows or variety shows), so that fans automatically get to know other idols/artists too. And then there's also the big & important difference between agencies and record labels in J-Pop! There's just so much to talk about lol, sorry I'm just yapping now
Let's be honest here - when I saw "Do or die" and got very excited because I love this song to death. Even if I'm not very familiar with Doberman Infinity's discography (tbh I like like... 3 or 4 songs). Okay so here's my rant - as someone already said it, music of BBZ is inspired by DI. It's quite important fact bc I heard there was some stupid discussion and hate towards BBZ boys that allegedly they copied some korean boys band. Which is a total bullshit. Okay, back to "Do or die" - this music video is containing some scenes from drama series "High&Low" which I also love to death. Without H&L I wouldn't be here because everything started with this series. You said, you know one face so let me tell you something - you also saw Taiki from Fantastics and probably you didn't recognize him. He was there too Another man is this one at the very beginning (this one who broke the mirror) - he's a performer in Sandaime J Soul Brothers from Exile Tribe (you reacted to one of their songs "STARS" - I'm a fan of them and I can send you some others recommendations). To sum up - High&Low has absolutely fantastic soundtrack and there are many boys from Exile Tribe groups so it's fun to watch

I didn’t even fathom about Taiki being in the mix 😭 So is Taiki, Yusei, Sandaime, & Sway all apart of Gekidan Exile ? & DI being BBZ mentors is actually so cool. I will have to see if I can listen for the influence now that I’ve heard some DI songs. I keep saying BBZ have some of my favorite Exile tribe songs and knowing there’s a whole other discography and group that was the influence of their sound is the type of surprises I love from LDH.

H&L has 2 seasons, 6 movies and two mini-series and Taiki plays the character who is a member of a gang named Sannoh (Hoodlum Squad). And as far as I know Gekidan Exile is other thing and bands from Exile Tribe are also different thing.
Yes, about the hate BBZ got. You can see that in the comments of their debut video 1000% TENHANE. And it sometimes still happens. But luckily it’s few and far between.🤗
