I was wondering how you keep them from getting ravaged by predators. Thanks for explaining that. Happy 2024!

Found your potato 🥔 hilling video. I'm getting ready to start planting hopefully as soon as Valentines day 😃

Happy New Year! We free range our chickens most days but if our dog starts barking too much we keep them in. This dog warns us when animals are near, and so far haven't lost any for a few years now, touch wood.

Hey David, have you had any black hens attacked by hawks? I heard hawks hate crows and think black chickens are crows and won't attack because of that. Curious of your experience since yours are mostly black. Thanks.

Yes, I've heard that. It seems to work pretty well. Hawks go after the lighter colored chickens. 😊

I'd like to know how do you keep Red Tailed Hawks,, Coyotes, Foxes, Racoons, Possums from eating your chickens during the day when they are Ranging? especially Red Tailed Hawks-they are brutal.
