The speakers should be of awful quality, almost 2007 RUclips audio quality. The thing is, the shit edgy music he plays almost never fits in with the situation, and in fights he tried to fight in tune of the song but he doesn’t have rhythm.

Cataru Moore there is no pleasing people like you. Sonic Mania, Sonic Forces and Sonic Mania plus never revolved around Sonic and friends. It revolved around the Phantom Ruby. It introduced a canon gemstone with powers and gave rise to the Warp Topaz used by Starline the Platypus. Not since the Sol Emeralds has their been a new gemstone integral in the plot. Also blame Ken Penders for causing the reboot of the Archie comics that eventually halted.

I love how you made him look like he would be right at home in the Sonic comics, backstory and all! A couple of add-ins, though: maybe his signature line stems from the fact that due to his defect, he speaks with a glitch in his voice that caused him to pronounce "personal" like "personnel". Also, to add to the inherent edgy nature, maybe instead of curling into a ball for a vertically-spinning dash, he spins on his limbs to rev up a horizontally-spinning buzzsaw that slides instead of rolling.
So many opportunities for proper characterization, it's amazing. Even the most ludicrously crafted character can be made into something worthy of development when placed in the right hands.

Maybe Kevin Robinson could be the name of the person who built Coldsteel, but when he short circuited Kevin tried to deactivate him, causing Coldsteel to have a grudge against Kevin.
Personnel-ly I think of it this way: if Coldsteel was supposed to be a justice-enforcement robot, perhaps the malfunction ended up frying the algorithm that Coldsteel was using to prioritize crimes. The order of priority of all the crimes got completely scrambled, so Coldsteel might deem a murderer only worthy of a stern talking-to, while a shoplifter who stole a chocolate bar would be riddled with holes on the spot.
So in Coldsteel's fucked-up processor, showing someone's DeviantArt without permission is a worse crime than murder.

For my own head-canon for Coldsteel's new design & backstory, I'd like to imagine that the scientists and engineers working on him didn't finalise his communications & vocabulary programs in time before Coldsteel short-circuited and went rogue, so he speaks in an accidentally Engrish-y manner akin to Fawful from Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga, though to a lesser degree, making for some unintentionally hilarious moments completely out of the blue.
And his sole mission? To go to the past and exterminate the tyrant of the new world: Kevin Robinson before he gets out of school

I love this design, but there's one thing I could see for improvement. One of my favorite things about robot characters is the idea of weapons systems installed on their bodies. I think a fitting weapon that calls back to his original design would be a nail gun.

Bio: Coldsteel was created as a Justice Instructing Network Computer Officer for GUN.
He was stronger than most other robots in the JiNCO training facility, due to him being the prototype of the more hedgehoid J.i.N.C.O. 2.0. He served in G.U.N.'s mission to retrieve the Insanity Sapphires from Eggman and, in the final battle against Metal Sonic, Coldsteel was convinced that Metal Sonic and him were destined to "do great things together as two bots of a feather" and Coldsteel turned against fleshy Sonic and killed him, making him lose a life and forcing him to run back on foot to the battle site since he left his car there, but Coldsteel and Metal had already fled.
He lost a part of his ear in the battle, but he got it repaired at Egg Station, which is why he doesn't not have a part of his ear.
He holds a deep-seated hatred for Shadow the Hedgehog, also known on popular social media site twitter.com as "khaoskid663", often stating that Shadow had "betrayed" him by refusing his offer to join the "dark side".

I'll be honest, part of me a is a little sad that the red wasn't incorporated more into his design, but that light purple color is very tricky to work with as it is. You made an excellent artistic choice!

You mean Elise form Sonic 06? Because if that's a yes I would suggest maybe to redesign Iblis or Solaris into more Sonic-ish proportions, Mephiles is good though, at least his second form, but those three I mentioned before need a redesign.

Okay, so I watched most of this video in night mode which removed most of the blue from Coldsteel's design, so that purple hair looked more maroon. Honestly I think the color I saw from night mode looked better. It looked more rustic.
Unfortunately, after I turned off night mode to see the purple, my eyes have now adjusted to the purple so I can't un-see it when I switch back to night mode.
