The LAST movement was excellent. The rest franly so-so. there are fingerings for the March that greatly facilitate some of the more awkward passages wthout leaving out a single note. I wish I could have brought these to this young man's attention, because I m certain that would have improved the quakuty of his performance noticeably. In my opiniion (I studied the pience with Claude Frank and performed it at Mannes College of Music and over WNYC radio many years ago) a slightly slower tempo, and a more incisive approach to the dynamics would greatly improve this young man's rather too glib approach to the march.
