Caught me off guard for a second when I recognized Memorial Drive. Didn’t know you were based in Calgary so was cool to recognize some roads. Just moved back to the states from there and didn’t get to ride up there, but seems like it’d be a beautiful place to ride in the summer months

The R6 Tube you got, was it the actual R6 one or is it the R6S tube?
Asking because here in South Africa, the R6 tube is about 4 times more pricey than the R6S tube and there is minimal difference between them.

I have the actual r6 throttle tube as it was only about $20 here in Canada. If it’s a huge price difference I would just go with the r6s tube! Here is some info about the differences between them.
1999-2005 R6 - 1/5th turn
2006-2009 R6S - 1/5th turn
2006-2009 R6 - 1/6th turn
Also the signal light mod is coming soon!

I gotta ask about the bar end mirrors..do they get in the way when clutching and or braking??
No haven’t had any problems with them! They stick out far enough that they don’t get in the way!
My mt-10 came with those chinese mirrors and they got in the way of the clutch lever when they were set upright so that you can actually see them.
Is that r6 throttle tube PN for the grip only or the tube and grip?
Tube then you can put your own grip on.
Do you prefer the pro taper carmicheal bend or the renthals?
Renthals! They have more sweep to them that I like. Although I didn’t mind the pro taper ones at all! The pro taper felt more like a dirtbike.

I dont mind my stock ones but would like them a little lower and little wider

How does the windshield feel at those higher speeds?
Helps a lot at around 110/120kph. Anything higher you get a lot of wind on you. But does make cursing at 110kph a lot more enjoyable!
Hi, what year is your mt07? I would like to fit the givi 2118 windschield on my 2019 but do you know if it fits?
2016. It probably wouldn’t fit right away but if you’re able to build a bracket you could make it work

I got a 2019 mt07, 16k miles for 5k.
What rear seat/compartment is on the bike in the cover photo? Does it have extra storage?
