Rukku misunderstood Somasekara Ghanapadigal is responsible for her father's death but she later realized that Somasekara Ghanapadigal is not responsible for her father's death. The premature death of her husband makes her to realize about Praraptha Karma which is responsible for all the sufferings undergone by Rukku. It is said that Kanchi Mahaswamy visited Somasekara Ghanapadigal house for biksha in the later part and advises her to serve the society to ward of the consequences of bad Karma faced by her. She reforms herself and start serving the society without self interest and she is instrumental in bringing the fifth generation descendants of Somasekara Ghanapadigal to the Agraharam house which she purchased from a person who bought that house after Somasekara Ghanapadigal family got separated in different direction. One should not view the tradition of the Agraharam family of 1930s in today's context. Both Poovilangu Mohan and Preeti Sanjay have lived in their respective characters wonderfully.
