Oh my goodness yesssss, I was a nurse aide and I had work parttime because of college and all my older coworkers both men and women were angry and keep telling me I need to give them all my medical benefits and work overtime and cover for them because I dont have kids and the entire group of my coworkers laugh at me after they said it, I am so happy I left that environment

But honestly how are we selfish for not wanting to bring a child into this crazy over populated world. I honestly think wanting the experience of having a child is in a way more selfish ... like most people do it for their own reasons, not their future child's
I fully agree with you: With 8 billion humans today, the world is changing drastically, losing resources and wild areas. It's time to invest in quality instead of quantity.

I always struggled to understand how it is selfish. The child doesn’t even exist lol I’m not stealing their happiness, pleasure, joys etc they don’t exist. I exist. And I want my life to myself.
How selfish it is depends on the reason behind it I suppose? If the stated reason is lack of importance then it is selfish.
We do whatever we want. I mean kids take up all their parents time, without them we have time for our own interests. In my experience, my friends and family with kids, they criticize me for not spitting one out but really their words are motivated by jealousy. Almost everything they say to me is to point out how I have time to do things for myself and they don't so I "don't understand what it's like to have kids". Well, yes I do and that's why I chose not to have any. And no I won't ever babysit for you, as that is usually the demand attached to such criticism of my choice.

The thing is childfree people have the intelligence and foresight to know what having kids entails lol unlike breeders that buy all the kid bullshit lol don't get mad at me for making decisions on MY one life that's expensive and complicated enough without screw trophies that really are nothing more than a contribution to overpopulation and many other crappy things hey thanks for nothing lol
Work a job, spend time on our interests, care for family and friends, PETS, get enough sleep and food in, and work on person projects. That’s already enough.
Why people think there is nothing else to do in life apart to care for a kid

Thanks ! People always think we have lot of free time or that we have no work or we are lazy , if we are childfree! Well we have all other responsibilities and work even if we have no children.

I have only one life i want to live my life to the fullest but being a mother i have to sacrifice a lot..being a mother is not the thing on my mind .my life is going fine without having children its own choice to have or not. I am 29 years old don't wish to have kids.give time to my career and life. Having freedom to do whatever wish to do in my life.

I remember the child-free life vividly as I waited so long to become a mum. It’s a good life (having a kid is surely good as well though, for me). So much time to do things carefully and properly just the way you want.

It’s an average of 21C/69F in the area of Canada that I currently live in so not cold! It’s almost officially summer so it’ll continue to get warmer over the next few weeks.

I am sooo envious that you have been able to visit a hairdresser! Other vloggers round the world seem to be able to get their hair cut now. I live in the UK and it's not going to happen before 4 July at the earliest. By which time I am going to look like the Wild Woman of the West. Just soooo envious!
I was feeling pretty rough myself before I got my hair done! Ponytails and hats are always a good option:)
What do I fill my time with if I’m not taking care of children? Personally, I work a whole lot and have no work life balance at all. Part of this is my own fault because I have boundary issues…but a big part when I was in my 20’s was that I did everything that required overtime because any of the working Mom’s had to leave at 5 to pick up their kids from daycare. So if there were projects left unfinished in our work group, I had to pick up the slack. This has unfortunately continued and at 45, I now work anywhere between 60-80 hours per week. In fact, it’s Saturday and I am working this entire weekend.
I used to live in Canada, and I have to say I miss the wilderness the most! I remember going to save ons like it was yesterday. 😊

Is it just that some people didn't realize they didn't want kids when they was younger. If they haven't had them by the time they are 30 or older. Why do some people stop wanting kids ?

No! I’ve never been good at any sport related activities. I did a bit of running just casually in high school. Once I finished university I slowly started incorporating exercise into my daily routine and now it’s a healthy daily habit.

My flexibility is way worse than yours, ahahah; my hamstrings are an absolute nightmare. I totally relate to the "If I stretched more often I'd probably be more flexible"... such a catch-22, though, because stretching when you aren't flexible is.... not appealing, to say it lightly!
I just find it kind of boring honestly and it's kind of a long game because there aren't usually immediate results!

I often read that childfree people are so content with their lives that they don't want it to change. Personally I always contemplated maternity in order to put a term to a lifetime spent on only myself. I have never had the money to spoil myself but definitely the time and it never really made me content. I have changed my life so many times though. Moved to many different countries. But this intensive self exploration was always geared toward acquiring enough wisdom to transfer it one day to my child. So to think that I would continue my life pretty much the same way, without any bigger breakthrough (maternity being the biggest one) is strange to me. Still I am really not sure I want a child. I am really confused.

there are other days that are not for most people and they go on living their lives as normal, i.e single girls on mothers day, single women on father's day, South African's living in South Africa whilst it's St Patrick's day in Ireland. Just go on with your life.
