Rad seems to be king of dropping stuff in places it's not supposed to be. First the injector diffuser, then the gas tank drain plug down the gas can 😂 I've been watching and talking to you for years, this is the most entertaining video you've ever released! Nice job!
I pretty much never comment on videos but this is so true. I'm thankful to have a buddy who I've shared a lot of memories like this with. We should all be so lucky.
Have a Valiant sedan with a small block. Solid body, no rust or rot, the original "Fawn Gold" paint is still really presentable, the interior is spotless. I've owned it for about 7 years, cost me $0 out-of-pocket. The powertrain, cooling, chassis, brakes, steering, suspension, exhaust have all been upgraded- it's quite surprising because it looks very stock except I drive on the street with VN47 Vectors in 15" x 7" on 60-series tires. It was sitting in the warehouse and the electrician that was working on LED lights and he came up to me & said, "I've walked past this thing for a couple days, never thought anything until I noticed the slotted & drilled rear axle rotors. Then the rear sway bar, the front brakes, looked under & saw the chassis stiffening, exhaust...this thing is wicked!"
Pull/Push start damn near does it every time to help you build enough compression for it to bust off. Had to do it that way to get my very 1st 12A rebuild to start with shitty side seal clearance.
I've seen a few but the owners didn't want to get rid of them so they just sit and rot I watched a 57 Chevy just rust away, there's a guy with bunch of old cars sitting in a field and he will not get rid of them they have been there for years and I also know where a Ford model t has been sitting in a shed for years
@ghost.of.aleksz.salad. who crapped in your cheerios? the cars are sitting and rotting away for years on end the owners just love those vehicles so much that they would rather them rust away than let someone else do something with them
Cheers for all the inspiration bro. After watching a lot of your videos I recently picked up a 1980 series 1 rx7 here in brisbane that someone had sat for a long time. I had to rebuild all brakes as they were seized, carby was full of rust. i poured some oil in and pumped some fresh premix through her over it runs!. Compression is a little sad on the front, sitting at 60psi on all 3 faces. the rear is 90+ even. not sure if I should rebuild it now (as i know housings could be toast) or drive it for a week or so taking it easy and see what happens. Also needed is some rust repair in front chassis :(.
this reminds me of a MK3 supra a neighbor of mine has that's been sitting at least since I was in the second grade. I still drive through the neigborhood now and then and it seems to have gone nowhere still. Sometimes I still get the inspiration to try and save it but I know how rusted out it has to be. We'll see.
So I notice a few things about that GSL-SE. 5-bolt hubs aren't stock, and those strut tops aren't right. FC crossmember in the front and wheels adapters in the back, or an axle swap? Maybe an 8.8? Also, GSL-SE does have a tall radiator stock. Oil cooler is in front of the rad. Only first gen that had that. My car is a hybrid - it's a '79, but a lot of later-model parts, including a GSL-SE drivetrain I'm shoving in.
Hi ,Mr. RAD I am in the process of my 1981 GSL 12a build and I really can use a second opinion. I mainly want the brap brap in my GSL what is the best way to go do a small Bridgeport only on the pramary iron only or do a Bridgeport the same length of the port on the primary and also the secondary iron as well. Please if you can help explaining the best route for me to achieve the brap brap sound on my build. Thank you so much in advance 👀
How does a first gen RX-7 parked up that close to a road not get stolen? That wouldn’t last 3 days in New Zealand/Australia 😮 Thousands of dollars in parts right there!

The orange Hawaiian shirt and a rx7. Totally Rad. Love it!
I really admire yalls friendship! These seem like some golden times to look back on in the future

Excited for this series :)
Rotary all way!!!
I have a 66 chevelle malibu I'm hoping to do a series over soon. Keeping stuff as drivers and letting them.see the road is the only way 🤟
I love these kind of videos.
I'm eyeballing all kinds of parts from that chevelle for my wagon lol
Love seeing an FB rise feom the grave. The Chevelle is cool too. Old rides are so cool.
My Fd that i rescued was sitting for many years started right up. Rotary reliability
