Great video guys, really proud and excited for you. It's funny you asked about baseball cards. I'm a 54 year old kid who loved baseball cards and just decided last week to go back to my collection that's been in my closet and garage for 20+ years. I have every Topps MLB set from 1983-1999 in plastic sheets in binders and I am cataloging all my loose cards in shoeboxes I collected from packs from 1979-1999 into a spreadsheet. I am well over 1,000 cards so far with only about half the collection done. Some of my favorite rookie cards I came across are Rickey Henderson, Don Mattingly, and Ken Griffey Jr. I tried collecting the 1989 Donruss set just through buying packs and I'm only missing about 30 cards and have about 5 duplicates of every other card in the set from trying. It's just so nostalgic to go through these cards again after so many years.

Hey man, let me know what 89 Donruss you're missing. I still have a couple of boxes full of commons from that set. Maybe I can help fill some of those gaps. That Henderson rookie is worth some $$$ if it's a PSA 9+.
@@johnarmstrong6227 That's really nice of you to offer. I made a list of the missing cards. How can I send you the list? I have so many duplicates in this set so let me know if you need any. I doubt my Henderson card is a high grade. It's been handled and in my garage for 20 years in plastic. I just love than I actually got it in 1980 in a pack.

I love collecting cards, to this day! I actually just recently started collecting again, a few months ago. I absolutely love the hobby. And all the people in it! Allen and Ginter is awesome. I pulled a piece of an old ship, and a piece of a map. Cant wait to get ahold of tommy, and a kyle duo card! Just purchased both your autos!

This is right up my alley, I used to love going to grocery stores with my mom just so I could sneak away with a pack of cards. I always loved sorting them too and I still dabble in it today!
Me and my brother collected since we were 5 and 12 years later we have book shelf’s, dresser drawers, and a closet full of cards. Never gets old

So,iam so happy to see I'm not the only one(50000) was where I was at till I sold,and restarted, I am 50 and I've been collecting since 1979. I even have cards still from 7879 and all the way up to 83 and then after that I kind of stopped the junk era and picked back up and like the late '90s but always stuck to what I love the most which was baseball. But I collected everything hockey, football marvel garbage Pail kids. I mean you name it. I was just like every card I can find. I wanted it but those collections had no base cards. I kept none of them. They were just inserts and rookies literally from 79 until about 20-20 when I sold my whole collection due to an illness. I started getting back into it recently knowing that I might have more time and be able to continue to enjoy the hobby. Although a lot of things have changed, not really for the better. I am kind of hoping that we get a nice playing field this point forward for youth and adults alike, especially since a lot of us. It was a huge past time for us back in the '70s in the '80s, I wish you both the best of luck and thank you. I think this is what a lot of people needed to see

Man, this is so cool. I was a big collector in the 80s and still have some of the jewels of those days, although I've misplaced some that I wish I still had. And I still spend too much money getting vintage boxes from BBCE.
I’m 27 and have been collecting cards since I was maybe 9/10. For about 5 years now I’ve been collecting vintage 1920s-1970s baseball. I’ve got a nice little collection.

First pack of cards I remember buying were 1987 donruss. They were .40 dents a pack.
Collecting and trading cards was so magical before the internet. You could only get what you could pull from packs at your local shop or card shows before you could order and trade online.
I’m just into my 40s but starting a local wiffle league this summer thanks to you guys. Legends.
