I didn't like the battery life of the CHARGE 5😔. The battery of the CHARGE 5 WI-FI EDITION promises twice the mAh of battery and even so the speakers weigh the same. ¿ I would really like to know if the JBL CHARGE 5 WI-FI EDITION battery would fit the regular JBL CHARGE 5 🙏🏽. If yes, I am willing to replace the battery in the future when it is available in the market to buy. But I still haven't found anyone opening the WI-FI EDITION or talking about" yet
No, in fact, the Charge 5 Wi-Fi is NOT backward compatible with pairing to the Charge 5! It's absurd. Bigger battery (almost 50% more), and slightly bigger driver that is not noticeable.
Is there an alternative speaker that works with WiFi and Bluetooth? The Charge 5 WiFi has what I'm looking for, but in my opinion 250 euros is a lot of money for such a speaker...
These speakers are pretty useless in my opinion. The speakers are not good enough to hear that big of a difference when playing a flac. Boombox 3 a tiny bit better, but still not enough. The combination of a higher price and the most boring colour doesn’t make that situation any better. It’s just my own thoughts but yea I think I’m not alone…
It depends on content if you listen Spotify so mp3 quality yeah difference is small with tidal ,deezer or other higher quality services /files the difference is much bigger , Also they tuned both different, I do like that the EQ is stuck at +1 -+2 -+3 now just sliding, The quality of pairing two wifi models trough chromecast multi speaker mode does work flawless
@@techderaudios The new tuning is nice, but I think JBL is doing a mistake now, the speakers won’t sell that well. JBL should integrate the wifi option to all upcoming models and not split the lineup. I hope the next Flip and Xtreme has WiFi integrated. And please guys don’t be mad at me, it’s still just my opinion 😄
Wifi quality is better then bluetooth because its using source material in most cases or atleast higher then jbl speakers with current old sbc codec of bluetooth can do so wifi model sounds better especially with apps like tidal and yt music
@@techderaudios Only music? No sound play for video over Google Cast? Do you feel sound quality difference in you ears via WiFi over Bluetooth? If you do blind test, can you tell the difference ? Beside the WiFi function, does the WiFi variant has some other update ?
Yeah yt music on music so no video because jbl wifi model doesnt have display, Bluetooth quality is lower because jbl uses old sbc codec so wifi is better if your music is higher quality
In my opinion, this is a waste of money. Especially for someone who already has a regular "Charge 5". I have Charge 5 and I use it the least of all bluetooth speakers I have. Better to buy for this money "Tronsmart Force Max 80W". In my country costs about 132€ - I mostly use it in a pair with another one Force Max 80W. Good review, whatever ;)
@@techderaudios I understand that. Purely in my opinion... the speaker must also have good bass and not just sound quality. So I think I will never throw money at a JBL speaker again. If you understand me.

how to play music from youtube over wifi on "jbl charge 5 wifi"? Thanks

Mooi, heeft ongeveer hetzelfde design als de JBL charge 5 Tomorrowland inverband met het goud
Seems like a nightmare, I mean better sound quality is good but I hate speakers that are app bound, especially if you have to have multiple apps xD
It still has bluetooth amd most cases you can do chromecast trough your media app for sound easy
@@techderaudios Didn't you say at 00:51 that even bluetooth functionality is bound to the app and won't work without it?

No partyboost but you can make a group with wifi models and cast to that group wich sounds more synced then connect or partyboost do
