this league it was pretty obvious tbh, i watched ben's video about the scarabs and could tell that div would be the path of least resistance, i'm sure most people could figure that out. but in general i absolutely agree with you, in most leagues there's some gigabrain 200iq stuff being done that i would never think of, and probably most people wouldn't.
This was our best session yet, and GGG is really fast with patching this issues this time around. The corpsecrafting has been giga buffed in both power and quality of life, hopefully scarabs get some love too. 2 more sessions until split, we'll see if we can beat our previous record (Affliction). I really don't think players want GGG to keep groups like yours in mind for balancing item drops, in fact I think that's the LAST thing solo players would want. A solo player can never put in the same amount of time and effort as 6+ people can when they are all doing crazy 14 hours days and stuff, and if the game was balanced around everyone playing that way, it would be a terrible game to play solo. Personally I like that group play exists and has mechanics that interact with it, it's kind of like watching a mirror-tier crafting video for me, I'll never be able to play this game that way, but I enjoy watching it and learning about an aspect of the game I probably will never interact with, and learning some tips and tricks along the way.

I will say though this league's changes to scarabs seems to greatly benefit magic-find/group-play strategies, as did Affliction, but doesn't quite make it more accessible to the average player. I don't know if this is a bad or good thing, but I do know that I had much more fun playing Affliction.

I don't understand people complaining. Maybe I'm dumb but doing the math, conservatively, it is 8 mirror at 270 d, divided by 8 people, 4 day session at around 15 hours a day. If I don't mistake myself, it is around 8 div or so. Very good for a leaguestart, with nice card drop, but not completely crazy. Not sure about the stats but pretty sure efficient player can do around that solo. I must look at @grimro starts but the number don't seems that impressive.
Same. This league group play seems more profitable than group play in previous leagues because I don’t think they’ve made 10 mirrors in a day before. However, group play in the past has never been as profitable per person compared to a solo person playing at the same level of efficiency. You can see in past videos that Empy always gets a cut of about 2-4 mirrors at the end of their group play sessions. A solo player at the same efficiency playing 16 hours a day like they do can make at least that amount in the same amount of time that their group operates. Idk why people complain about empy’s group when there are solo streamers who make the same amount of currency if not more (per person)
even if it's crazy currency making, it's still not a reason to complain. Also the best currency making will always be free market "abuse": smart invest and sell with a bit of craft, hideout gameplay but not many can do that in term of game and economic knowlege and again the effort to do that for hours and hours...

there is more to this question. but simply put - group play is rewarding as it adds quant and rarity. BUT - it heavily depends on ur setup i'd say. if u can increase the value of doing stuff in a duo (besides FUN), that means for example u can run maps u wont do otherwise solo AND u are faster in doing this then doing ur weaker maps solo OR u are exceptionally faster in running ur toughest maps - that it is. that is a matter of the increase in value u'r looking for. this probably already requiers a more inline setup for ur characters - so u need to build around that at some point. it also comes down to the strategy ur going for - u can earn currency with almost every aspect of the game. beasts, delve, bosses, ritual, harvest, temples and so on... so streamling this is also a factor. BUT again - if u want to play as a duo *just do it*, this game has no direct competion nor anything like a ladder or what so ever. it is all about the fun of yours. set ur own goals and overcome them :)
It's not because of game being rewarding. It's about that the game is not rewarding for Them, due to the skill issue. And also because someone has friends and they don't.
To play devils advocate.. POE isnt REALLY a pve game per se if you consider the market a weird way of PVP. If more currency is generated, your currency matters less. That is at least their belief. But in reality, it doesnt REALLY work out that way.

It would take paragraphs upon paragraphs to explain all the stuff they're doing, the builds, the strategies, and even then, you'd need a group of 5 other people willing to spend 16 hours a day no-lifing the game for a week plus right from league start. What they're doing is for a super experienced and knowledgeable group.
The minmax for their maps aren't really made for solo play, theres likely a better setup for you as a solo player. most of the loot multipliers are just coming from party play anyway, they are getting around 112% quant and 90% rarity multiplier due to party play alone. Edit: if you specifically are caring about the full stacks of div cards, its one of the new div scarab mods. like 20% chance or smth to drop as a full stack

@@arturjosemisturajunior1300 if you are new to the game I would not use this vid for strats. this is like top 0.0000001% of play that's just for entertainment. i would look up how to get a solid (and cheap) build and just start pushing higher tiers of map. the drop influence and map config really will not make a difference. a better metric would just be trying to run as many high tier maps as possible and spend as little time in your hideout as possible. you will get a better feel for optimization the more you play
As a solo player for many years I still don't quite understand this game and watching this makes me so depressed xD knowing i spend entire day farming crumbs and i see this...anyway congrats amazing session, would like to have the knowledge on this game like you guys do
this is a full team of people in the 0.1% of players who KNOW how to play the game, including the designated traders, who know what to trade and when. even empy playing solo at league start would struggle to make 10 mirrors in a DAY alone, this early in the league. dont feel too bad, if you are having fun playing poe, you are playing it right.
It’s funny cuz from what noticed he s that the group play goes for what about a week and then they’re did me then Empy goes on and plays. The shenanigans at end of league collecting all the currency and gear doing wild and fun ideas is my favorite part. Some butthurt people just need a hug I guess lol. I w grown to love the content throughout the leagues.
no bcs current "bis" strat is to input hundreds of maps to get divine mod, run it get around 60 div and fish for another div mod again in next 700-800 maps repeat...

It's got to be tough to balance this game. It's frustrating for solo players to see the cool new scarabs and then realize it's not going to be economical to run them. Although I do love the salty threads of solo players who can't adapt.

Honestly as an average solo player I definitely don't want them to nerf group play, that being said I also don't want solo players to have to spend 300 hours playing a league to be in a similar situation. Using juicing strats should be Hella rewarding, but that doesn't mean slightly juicing or alch and go should be pointless
Solo players just use different strategies, but the money is the same if you do it correctly. This just looks more crazy because you're seeing resources that are going to be divided 9 ways all dropping at once.

An average player isn't going to look up in depth farming strats and level a character just for farming and then spend 100+ hours farming just to get to a comparable state. And the only reason they would be is because of trading. Ssf? More like 3 to 4 hundred hours to get to a comparable state. That is definitely not the average player. I'm a dad with a full time job. I'm lucky to play for an hour or 2 in the evening, once or twice a week.
no shot empy is playing on GFN, the performance isn't that good on PoE and Empy almost never has lag problems despite the massive amount of shit on the screen, a top end computer is far better than streaming

I mean I will say its very infair for you guys to be doing something that a solo player GGG really needs to buff the scarab drops cause some of us can't even play their favourite mechanic without either making it very unefficient and not using the higher tier scarabs or loosing currency
They farmed 23 mirrors playing as 8 in 5 days, at 250d per mirror that 5750 div, 143 div per person per day, so less than 10 div per person per hour. There are plenty of strategies that make more than that as a solo right now.
I love these runs, im just bitter out of jealousy xD. I dont know how to ever earn this kinda currency. I have played PoE for 8 years ish i think, but never know how to optimise like this lol
I doubt many of us even come close to the currency they are printing every time they play, but there is also no need to xD Last league I made a small percentage of their total loot but it was still about 4 mirrors which was my best league by far and I started playing during Torment league 2014
They play too many hours and have people trading for them so they just focus on blast maps after map for 14 hours for 1 week And even then.. the cut is like maybe 5 mirrors per person if they are lucky 10 mirrors is insane amount of currency but that is 14 hours x 7 days without missing a second

It would take paragraphs upon paragraphs to explain all the stuff they're doing, the builds, the strategies, and even then, you'd need a group of 5 other people willing to spend 16 hours a day no-lifing the game for a week plus right from league start. What they're doing is for a super experienced and knowledgeable group.
The minmax for their maps aren't really made for solo play, theres likely a better setup for you as a solo player. most of the loot multipliers are just coming from party play anyway, they are getting around 112% quant and 90% rarity multiplier due to party play alone.
Edit: if you specifically are caring about the full stacks of div cards, its one of the new div scarab mods. like 20% chance or smth to drop as a full stack

@@arturjosemisturajunior1300 if you are new to the game I would not use this vid for strats. this is like top 0.0000001% of play that's just for entertainment. i would look up how to get a solid (and cheap) build and just start pushing higher tiers of map. the drop influence and map config really will not make a difference. a better metric would just be trying to run as many high tier maps as possible and spend as little time in your hideout as possible. you will get a better feel for optimization the more you play

As a solo player for many years I still don't quite understand this game and watching this makes me so depressed xD knowing i spend entire day farming crumbs and i see this...anyway congrats amazing session, would like to have the knowledge on this game like you guys do
this is a full team of people in the 0.1% of players who KNOW how to play the game, including the designated traders, who know what to trade and when. even empy playing solo at league start would struggle to make 10 mirrors in a DAY alone, this early in the league. dont feel too bad, if you are having fun playing poe, you are playing it right.

It’s funny cuz from what noticed he s that the group play goes for what about a week and then they’re did me then Empy goes on and plays. The shenanigans at end of league collecting all the currency and gear doing wild and fun ideas is my favorite part. Some butthurt people just need a hug I guess lol. I w grown to love the content throughout the leagues.

no bcs current "bis" strat is to input hundreds of maps to get divine mod, run it get around 60 div and fish for another div mod again in next 700-800 maps repeat...

It's got to be tough to balance this game. It's frustrating for solo players to see the cool new scarabs and then realize it's not going to be economical to run them. Although I do love the salty threads of solo players who can't adapt.

Honestly as an average solo player I definitely don't want them to nerf group play, that being said I also don't want solo players to have to spend 300 hours playing a league to be in a similar situation. Using juicing strats should be Hella rewarding, but that doesn't mean slightly juicing or alch and go should be pointless
Solo players just use different strategies, but the money is the same if you do it correctly. This just looks more crazy because you're seeing resources that are going to be divided 9 ways all dropping at once.

An average player isn't going to look up in depth farming strats and level a character just for farming and then spend 100+ hours farming just to get to a comparable state. And the only reason they would be is because of trading. Ssf? More like 3 to 4 hundred hours to get to a comparable state. That is definitely not the average player. I'm a dad with a full time job. I'm lucky to play for an hour or 2 in the evening, once or twice a week.

no shot empy is playing on GFN, the performance isn't that good on PoE and Empy almost never has lag problems despite the massive amount of shit on the screen, a top end computer is far better than streaming

I mean I will say its very infair for you guys to be doing something that a solo player GGG really needs to buff the scarab drops cause some of us can't even play their favourite mechanic without either making it very unefficient and not using the higher tier scarabs or loosing currency
when i farm all day i get 40d. they are also 10 mirrors.
you probably dont farm 16 hours a day and also they split the money in 10 people

They farmed 23 mirrors playing as 8 in 5 days, at 250d per mirror that 5750 div, 143 div per person per day, so less than 10 div per person per hour. There are plenty of strategies that make more than that as a solo right now.

I doubt many of us even come close to the currency they are printing every time they play, but there is also no need to xD Last league I made a small percentage of their total loot but it was still about 4 mirrors which was my best league by far and I started playing during Torment league 2014

They play too many hours and have people trading for them so they just focus on blast maps after map for 14 hours for 1 week
And even then.. the cut is like maybe 5 mirrors per person if they are lucky
10 mirrors is insane amount of currency but that is 14 hours x 7 days without missing a second

The currency they produce as a side effect is understandable I mean they practice and are excellent individual players. The only way they've ever hurt group farming successfully is by making the core game unbelievably unfun for solo players as well. Was called Kalandra. Everyone hated it.
@@eckology016 GGG could just delete/reduce the group quantity/rarity bonus and/or make bonus quant/rarity use the groups average instead of the killer's. That would nerf group farming without affecting solo players at all, so GGG could IF they ever wanted to.
