Battlefield2: Infantry battle in PR map Al Basrah put into CMR mod 1.15 (factions and weapons added)

- 7Game´s awesome Combat Mod Remastered v1.15 is a perfect base mod for adding more "own" assets and having a really great time, playing coop (with me as the only human player) in this 17 years old ported PR map. AL Basrah is one of the very few PR maps which actually have an acceptable navmesh/ singleplayer gameplay - and 7Game´s gorgeous CMR 1.15 mod will boost its AI gameplay even more.
I added WeiVan´s fantastic factions and some more cool weapons (as secondary weapons, and my mortar) and some new effects and vehicles (pickup trucks, heli) as well. Battlefield 2 is still a perfect shooter game, thanks to its ambitious and skilled modders - and its awesome AI potential.
Leading a bot squad and always staying close to its members will give you all the support you need for a longer time of survival and a pleasant gameplay. Enjoy this video!
Cool. How did you do that? Using Bf2 editor? I'd like PR maps on this mod, because for some reason this mod runs with a perfectly performance than PR. Great work in your mods!
Thank you! You need to create a zip folder with all the statics of PR in it, then get it loaded by a ServerArchives.con and a ClientArchives.con, both con files need to be implemented in the server.zip of the map. Also the zip file needs to be placed there.
You can put the zip file in a different folder, too - but then it has to be linked correctly in the ServerArchives.con and the ClientArchives.con. It´s always good to study how other people solved it, so take a look how this guy did it with BF2142 maps and their content:
