This is incredible, especially when he was playing ascending V7-1 resolutions.... And the fact that he's able to do all of this when his hands are still so small is very impressive too. He is absolutely a piano prodigy like no one I've ever seen before. Please keep nourishing his gift and support his passion if he (hopefully) chooses music as a career
Children knowhow to move right and left on the keyboard easy peasy when they are shown. You have not seen any one like that because you have no clue and none of your friends have a real piano.
I know..Its enough to see the little fingers fight for triads, but then you realize whatever it is your observing, you then realize that he is processing the tones and moving tonal..BY EAR! When he pauses, his mind is processing the tones and recalling, the location of the next chord, from muscle memory! NO WAY! 😊. BABY, BABY!! BLESS YOU! THIS CHILD SHOWS US..HOW WE ALL. SHOULD ALL, BE!
This little boy is definitely making a conscious effort with the keys and making music for sure. He’s thinking about where his fingers are and he’s totally captivated by the sound and feel of those keys too. Amazing totally incredible too
1:52 Absolutely incredible watching him more or less cycle through the circle of fifths here, having no idea even what the circle of fifths is but simply having the musical intuition to sense what combinations of notes will sound good following other combinations of notes. Truly mindblowing, this kid is GIFTED. Also, makes you think about music as a natural occurrence, considering he has no idea whatsoever about theory but his intuitions lead him to recreating theory regardless. As I’d music actually has laws that exist beyond the conceptions of man.

I firmly believe this child knows exactly what he wants to play - he knows it in his heart and in his mind. It is his size and his tiny fingers and hands that hold him back from all he hears insisde! What a beautiful master of his art!
Well, limited knowledge creates irrational beliefs. The toddler has been goven accees to a piano and shown pattenrnts up and down by his piano player sister. Very ordinary occurence in families of musicians.
Yeah! He did seem to exhibit in one of the videos, some frustration. As if, possibly, apparently…his body wasn’t quite able, yet, to do, what his mind could perceive, and his ears could hear.
I agree. He knows the instrument and what can be done with it, he just can't bring it out yet. I'm sure he was a very gifted musician in another life and that he builds on the knowledge and talent that he has aquired back then. He's basically continuing where he left of. If he goes into regression therapy later on he can quite easily figure out who he has been before. It's beautiful to watch ❤

I'm scared. Lol. If all you hear are random notes being banged out by a precocious toddler, i mean no disrespect when i suggest you either llisten more closely. If that doesn't help, none of what's beung said here will make any sense to you. This todddler is 1.5 years old. He can't yet speak, but the language of music is deeply ingrained in him. He demonstrates a level of sophistication and underdtanding of melody, harmony and rhyrhm. How is it possible for him to be effortlessly playing pentatonic, diatinic, snd friggen myxolidian patterns it took me YEARS to get comforrtable with. He hasn't been around long enough too have any frame of reference! If there is a clearer example of real prodigy I've yet to see it. This kid is gonna be a monster by 6!!!
Half of msicians' kids do the same. And many kids of non musicians do the same, if given daily access to a piano. This toddler is now 2 y 4 months old and made no progress since this video. He still experiments with thumb-finger-finger claw, pressing 1 white key apart chords, same as his sister showed him. I suggest, as you are obviously not a musician but a gamer, asking musicians and their parents about their early childhood. To your great surprise, you will hear hundreds of similar stories. Talented kids explore instruments since very young, spend hours making sounds. This is a sign of talent, but nothing special yet to show to the world, therefore those parents of future musicians keep their videos private and do not film constantly, as to not create the impression to their child that he is special in any way. The worrying signs by now is the total absence of speech ( the boy does not even say mama or another simple word), and total absence of singing in tune. ALL gifted kids sing in tune by that age. Even many non-musicians do. At 2y 4 months I sang so many songs in tune throughout , with all words for every song... how can I see thos delayed kid as special? In Russian language, by age 2 a child must speak phrases, otherwise it is classed as a developmental delay. No words at this age means severe impairment. Why is this happening? Because his parents got carried away with the popularity of their son and forgot to provide the good developmental conditions for him. Immetiade stopping of promotional daily filming, immediate introducing toilet training, independent feeding, speech therapy for several hours a day, obedience training to ensure the boy could comply eith instructions of a stranger teacher, is what is needed now to give o this boy a small chance to develop his inborn talent into something useful. Otherwise ASD is the future, not music.

@@Aveask Not only he is not a genius, but he does not even have much talent? as he cannot even sing a matched note? gifted kids at this age can match whole melodies, sing in tune and recognise notes by sound. This boy cannot. He also cannot verbally communicate at all at 31 months of age and is not even able to use yes or no, which indicates huge developmental delay/ This is a tragedy unfolding in front of our eyes. The fame-hungry parents are literally selling their kid in barely any clothing to uneducated masses . His privacy is being shamelessly violated. As he is presented as a "genius" but will not be able to live up to even a 1/100000 of expectations, he will have to face disappointment by thousands of people who relied on the promotion. Nope, every significant musician could sing in tune by age 2 freely.
@@MishaSkripach Do you know the family so well that you know so much about the child's development? Musical talents often learn to sing before they learn to speak. The very first sign of musical talent in children is a great interest in music and a sensitivity to sounds. It is not necessarily only musical sounds that are important to them, any kind of noise affects them more deeply. Mozart's hearing was so sensitive that loud sounds caused him physical illness. Musical talents are extremely sensitive to beautiful sound at a very young age. At the age of two, Rubinstein listened enthusiastically to his older sister's piano playing, but if he hit the wrong note, he would slap his hand. Both he and Menuhin broke the child's violin because it didn't sound right.A young child who explores the middle C key on the piano with a curious fascination and then searches for higher and deeper C notes shows fluency in music. Children can acquire crystallized musical abilities from parents and teachers within the framework of formal music education. All children have some level of musical ability, but the differences can be huge. A sensitivity to music is also characteristic of all of us, but only a few are to the extent that musical talents are affected by sounds from a very young age.The sensitive period of the musical sense closes around the age of nine, so the child's musical ability must be established until this age. Thus, early musical education is considered a prerequisite for talent, rather than the early expression of a child's talent.Early stimuli are therefore crucial, and parents can do the most for the development of the brain structures responsible for musical abilities at this age.Otherwise, everything is fine with the child's clothes, I don't understand what is the problem with it? I congratulate the parents on the child! Smart, beautiful, healthy, and that's the most important thing! Thank you for honoring me with your comment!

@@MishaSkripachno, nonsens. He has a musical brain, unlike most of the children that are trained. He needs music. And is so eager to learn. The way he always takes his sisters hand when he is sitting on her lap, forcing her to continue. This todddler is 1.5 years old. He can't yet speak, but the language of music is deeply ingrained in him. He demonstrates a level of sophistication and underdtanding of melody, harmony and rhyrhm.

His face with chubby red cheeks and his concentration is heartwarming. I can not tell whether he is remembering or composing.
C'est très étonnant car même si cet enfant vit dans un milieu familial très porteur, il a vraiment un don pour la musique.
Le plus impressionant sont les cadences à partir de 1:30 .
He is super cute, and I was gobsmacked with the first video at age 1.5, but, tbh, he doesn't seem to be improving. Still very talented, but maybe time for lessons? Mom looks like the subject of a Pre-Raphaelite painting, incidentally.
It is his sister. No improvement and no speech whatsoever, no understanding of speech, a classical rainman scenario unfolding, very sad.
What a wonderful example of parenting to encourage concentration and imagination.
Her total engagement in his activity without judgment or interference.

What an amazing era. That we can watch a baby prodigy . To see him before and as he steps towards his greatness. Just so peaceful as he plays. Maybe we watch a Mozart, Bach, Wagner.........
Just lovely.
Why have you decided that he is a prodigy? He cannot play and it is uncertain whether he will ever be playing any bette than average. What is funny about this era is that stoopid or uneducated people got unlimited options to crowd together and worship their ludicrous illusions, forming an "internet impression of majority".
Well, this boy doesnot speak a word at 26 months and is still in nappies, he repeats exactly the same several chords daily. Well ...every prodigy of the past could speak at least separate words by this age, and nobody ever called a non-playing kid a prodigy. His sister just taught him patterns as she is a basic level musician ( trained as a nursery school music staff).

The most amazing thing about Gavriil is that he plays the harmonies that I didn't master until I was at least 14 years old. He is a genius.
No, he presses just every second white key, then shifts one white key up, then up again. It is totally mechanical and was shown to him by his big sister. Nothing like a genius, he cannot even recognise notes by sound. Watch a video of him pressing a scale and trying to sing, he gets stuck at the first note and keeps repeating the same, not noticing the mismatch. Now he is 2y 9 months old and made not progress in his piano exercises.
