@@Argh0naut I still have working from home and schooling my 7 year old as we are in lock down again. So I'm only get fun at the weekends, but I have made a few videos this year.
@@Argh0naut Well, I did try it, with both Craves. First Crave- press ‘record’, nothing happens. Oh, the ‘record’ button lights, but the first step in the sequence does not. Obviously faulty, but I don’t recall registering it, so I’ll have to pay to get it fixed- if I can get it fixed. Second Crave- yes, I can record a sequence into it, but I cannot tempo-sync that sequence by patching to the Crave’s ‘tempo’ input, or the ‘gate’, or anything else. So I have at least one, maybe two duff Craves. Of course, I can sequence them by midi over usb from the iPad, or via the Korg SQ-64. But I have two synths that do not work as advertised, and I am not happy. Perhaps I will get better build quality with a Mother 32...
@@walrtbstudios5430 sorry to hear that it is not working, did you manage to get the latest patch? It took me some figuring out to get the midi settings right to work on the 5 pin midi. Maybe the clock settings are not correct?
@@Argh0naut Fortunately, one of the things Behringer do get right is that they update over iOS (I don’t have a pc), so the firmware I’d up to date and I can fix the clock settings. Can’t fix the rubbish sequencer though...
Thank you, Behringer hasn't included too much on the operation of the sequencer and recording. These videos help. What base is this under the Crave? Looks bouncy like being on a coil.
Thanks, glad it helps. The construction is a bit wobly, it is an opside down cildshoe stand mounted on a bike clamp which is clamped on the keyboard stand, it needs to be ducttaped when performing or it will wobble of on to the ground. Might make a little video showing the construction 😊
It's full to the left, counter clockwise. When playing with other synths I turn it up to match the right tuning or play around with it to get a nice rise or fall sound.
How do you erase a sequence and basically put it back to default? should be more guides on this. I know this little beauty is powerful, but the sequencer and info on it is hard to find. Shouldn't have to search.
When you have the pattern active/selected. You press shift+reset+pattern. If you then save it, it will override the memory. It is the second step from the quick start guide on recording, albeit it is sometimes hard to find out what is meant and it skips the saving part. Haven't used the crave in a while, but now I know what to do this weekend 🤗
@@Argh0naut Thanks for your speedy reply. I'll give it a go, but have to admit, they've made this too cumbersome. Found out my keystep has an easier sequencer and may be a good alternative. I'm new to synths, so appreciate things a little newbie friendly.
@@t3chnod3lic the keystep is more intuitive and can connect two synths so I've heard. Setting the midi on the crave was a bit cumbersome but had a tutorial for that.
Cool little jam and tutorial i'm still thinking of getting one of these, and hope your staying safe.
Thanks, making music makes staying home less of a bore 😊
And getting new gear is always a good idea 😉

I’m going to try this. Got two of these and have never managed to get a sequence into either- let alone save it!
Hope this video helps, if not, just ask 😊

Wal the crave sequencer is easy to use. I don’t particularly like the sequencer but it’s easy to use.

@@Argh0naut I like that it is wobly. Seems fun.
Hey, whats your frequency tuning that you used in this video? I see the knob is not in the center position

Это играет один crave или что-то ещë?
At some point the Drumbrute Impact starts for the beats and around 4:18 you can hear the Microkorg too. The rest is just the crave.
