Wow! You just explained in 5 minutes what I couldn't understand from professor and textbook all semester. What really clarified things for me was the TIME component of each research method. Where does a qualitative content analysis or thematic analysis fall? For example, if someone were to use secondary data to analyze public comments to answer a research question, where would that fall?

I'm not sure if this is the correct one, but I think it's known as Library or desk-based research
