    UPDATE:
    1) Never increase weapon mastery when you don't have S-rank proficiency, it takes forever. It's so much quicker to leave the stage, equip a Guru evility, and level your weapon mastery that way than without an S-rank proficiency.
    2) If your character originally has an A or an S rank proficiency for a weapon/armor, don't equip a Guru evility. Instead equip the Weapon Fan evility and a weapon with Grow Rank * [weapon type] equipment, and each will raise the proficiency rank of your weapon. The thing is you can go ABOVE S Rank proficiency with WeaponFan & GrowRank*[WeaponType], and you will raise profieicney even faster than a normal S Rank, but your status screen will still say you are only S Rank. WeaponFan & GrowRank*[WeaponType] stack with eachother, but [WeaponType]Guru evilities don't stack with anything and just keep you at the baseline lowest value of S Rank.
So if you originally have a B-rank, adding WeaponFan + GrowRank*Weapon = S Rank = just as good as Guru
But A Rank with WeaponFan + GrowRank*Weapon = S+ Rank (but only listed as S rank)
And S Rank with WeaponFan + GrowRank*Weapon = S++ Rank (but only listed as S rank)
    3) Use Evilities: Run Them Down (Unique from Felynn), Weapon Fan 2 (from Nitra), Forced Counter 5 (Martial Artist), Handicap 1 (Demon Lord Gacha), Cloth of Truth 4 (Giant Eye). Archer's Unique "Support Attack" evility does not activate when attacking allies. Team Attacks does not increase weapon mastery if activated, making Unity Evility useless. Forced Attack evility causes all 20 possible hits of countering to activate, therefore no need to Counter Knowledge or Retribution evilities. Cloth of Truth, which costs 4 slots and prevents evading, can be used instead of Eye for an Eye ensuring you never miss (but not really important because it seems that even if you miss you still gain weapon mastery). Run Them Down allows you to attack again if target has under 10% health, which can cause another 20 counter attacks. In this way you've only used 12 evility slots, and can now equip 3 Guru evilities. Again feel free to stop a stage & come back & equip a guru later if you can't get a weapon to S rank proficiency on one turn, so you can level it faster.
    4) Go to Stage 9-4 and stand on one side of the stage on geo patterns with the Attacks +1 active. I prefer to get rid of the nearby geo blocks first so they don't get targeted later, and to make sure you are far away enough from the other monsters so they don't go near you. Lastly Pirilika and Flora Beasts will heal nearby allies at the end of a turn, which you don't want because you want targets to be under 10% health so that the Run Them Down unique evility activates for another hit, so have them away from everybody else.
    5) Always have a few GrowRank*[WeaponType] (like Fist, Sword, Bow, etc) in your bag, and use them when raising weapon mastery (unless you have a guru of that weapon type, which negates any bonuses it gives). Try to collect gear with properties "Such Weapon Mastery" or "Equipment Improvement /+/++" (which are usually found on the Muscle type equipment), these will always speed up your weapon mastery gain. You get hit so much, you'll probably gain Armor mastery without trying (which increases equipment stats from any non-weapon equipment).
    6) Lastly anything you do to increase the number of attacks, like using Swing About or Valkyrie Order, will increase the amount of times you attack per turn (and activate 20 counters per attack), making you gain weapon mastery that much faster per turn.

If you add Flying bullet you can grind Gun more easily too. allows you to attack in diagonal. (replace damage reward)
PS: Support attack does not work if you target allies.

For a faster grind, and assuming your 10 characters have 24 commons evility slots, you can remove Retribution and give each character three 'guru'-type weapon evilities. You'll be able to fit 3 guru evilities in with the rest of the evilities listed. Yes, this does mean you'll only be able to grind 3 weapons per fight, but you'll grind them much, much faster.

  • @troqu

It's kinda insane how long this takes even with 1200 cp. Partly because there's no good way to monitor it so you need to just open up the stats page every few rounds on all of the characters. It's not hard or difficult but it is probably the most boring grind in the game. I hope in D8 they re-add weapon skill back to the juice bar or give us some other way to boost it. 10 hours of spamming attack on my characters and then changing gear and doing it again is rough. (And yes I know that realistically I could probably just do swords on everyone and call it a day since the end game gear set will be neo baal swords all over the place, but having such a glaring omission on my main team just doesn't feel right)

@@russellyowell6255 For Sword, and Fist skills you should double check the story unique characters, a few start with 50+ weapon masteries (fist is a postlude character, sword starts with H). You make them the leader of the skill squad to pass on the level 50 skills. As soon as the other unit gets the skill to level 1 they'll keep the skill even outside of the squad, even with level 0 weapon mastery.
Edit: My bad, thought one of them had 50 spear, but she has 20.

      1. Go through chapter 1 and 2 with just Fuji and Pirilika (easy enough to do).
      2. Unlock cheat shop.
      3. (Optional but helpful) Grind RP by abusing the armor knight in 1-5 and pull gacha for some grind evilities.
      4. go to 2-1/2-2, move Pirilika onto the Attack+1 tile and surround her with as many chars as you can buff easily (most likely a line of 3 early on).
      5. spam the buff and use it to grind up exp/class mastery/mana until desired value. (I suggest lvl 200 and every current class to at least 3 stars).
      6. Reincarnate and level up again.
      7. If you have the DLC, this is where I would finish all of them as you will one shot everything in them. Otherwise, skip this.
      8. You now have a character to completely destroy the story.
      9. After finishing the story, unlock Carnage dimension and basically start following the rest of the guides here. Start with RP using Secret Recon and Image change, since juice bar stats will be the first thing to max before starting Exp/Class/Mana grinding.

You have to put the unit in the skill squad than level up their skill EXP of fire than the unit keeps the skill permanently after you take them out the squad. • @TheGodJames
      @TheGodJames Год назад +1

@@Queenofgravyfries Than, you should grind scrolls. They’re giving out in the carnage dimensions. You have to put an angel the leader of the skill share squad than put Fuji or people you want to learn it to in the squad also. The skills should be viable in battle or in their stats screen. YOU have to level up the skill meaning level it up to level 4 to keep it permanently without needing to put them in the skill squad. If you don’t level it up and take them out the squad, the skill will disappear making it meaningless. Level up the skill and the proficiency and the skill should be yours.
Unlike Disgaea all the other Disgaea games, You can’t convert skills into scrolls which is weird. But, this method alots you to learn these skills.
