- I rode a ferry to Orcas Island, one of the San Juan Islands located off the coast of Washington State. I discovered an adorable pottery place with a treehouse, climbed Mt. Constitution to see an epic island view, and found my happy place in an easy hike to Cascade Falls.

I’m here because I’ve been in Detroit for 3 years, and I was feeling homesick and nostalgic. Before Detroit, I lived in Anacortes, at the other end of the ferry trip. In fact, I lived just a few blocks from the ferry! I have a whole set of fish shaped dishes from the pottery place. It really is a wonderful place to live.

I've been living in Friday Harbor, Washington for more than 22 years....and I have never set foot on Orcas. Maybe some day I will...some day!!

10/10 Broken Glasses! This is why BC and Washington are BFFs. We get to share spectacularly stunning places like this. And while Trump may know we burned down the Whitehouse, he prob doesn't know that we went to war in 1859 over the San Juan Islands too. It was called the "Pig War" because... it was caused by a pig wandering where it shouldn't have been wandering.
Anywho, great job on the vid - amazing shot of Baker - didn't think the day was clear enough for that shot - gorgeous! The music was perfect - especially during the waterfalls part. The opening was a little corny, but I dig it. But the ending was epic. I wasn't there for that, so it was hilarious to see, and I swear the server was Canadian - so polite and apologetic, even though it was clearly no fault of hers. You nailed another one! Keep 'em coming!
