I'm glad you enjoyed Orcas. To get to Puget Sound you would need to go south into the Straits of Juan de Fuca, then east/southeast into Admiralty Inlet past the entrance to Hood Canal. Now you are in Puget Sound. The San Juan Islands are not in Puget Sound waters. The prefered designation is Salish Sea.
if you ever go back to orchis here are some of the places I recommend Wildrose Staples they are a horse riding place and the teacher is very kind some of the restaurants I like are Portofino they are a pizza restaurant and make some of the best pizza I have ever tasted the island skillet they make wide selections of delicious breakfast and brunch foods mijitas is there a Mexican restaurant that serves some really delicious Mexican foods such as the classic nachos and burritos but there are many more choices and last but not least one of my favorite locations is Buck Mountain it is amazing up there is a wonderful views and lots of trails it's a must-see!
oh man, I love the Gather Here series. Great video production, soothing vibes, enticing dining layout. I can't seem to find it (or Chef Guy) on the Tastemade app though, is paid subscription necessary to get the full content?
How is it living there? I’ve been considering moving there lol but I don’t know what the pros and cons are xP and which island is best for a permanent living situation ..
@@alien0rca so it is really really nice, the community is great and we take care of each other. We love diversity and love everyone. The town is small. Walking trails are really nice and cute. Community gets a little annoyed with too many tourists. I think living here is a little expensive so you shouldn’t move here right now😂. Our island has done really well with COVID like we went 9 weeks without COVID. Political views are mostly left. The country has no effect on us. Nature is great. A lot of deer everywhere
@@alien0rca Lopez is a little place so I don’t know if that would be good don’t have enough expierience with that. Friday had our has more places but honestly when playing them in sports they are dicks.
Beautiful representation of Orcas. When you love Orcas Island, Orcas Island loves you back.

Orcas is truly the best kept secret of the PNW. I have never been to a more magical place.
Notice how none of the orca fins were bent over like the ones in captivity
Some of the orcas in the wild are having health issues due to humans' impact on the environment. :(
LolloRosso I think usually caused by depression, maybe from humans taking the calfs of the moms away :(
Fabulous video, you've totally inspired me to go to Orcas this weekend, TY!
