This is SO DragonForce. Not only shredding the guitar to an inhuman level, but having fun and being who they are. It's not about being extreme or being metal, it's about being DragonForce. It's so unique. Keep it up!

20 years in the game , still coming up with new ideas, lyrics and creating good music, and yet some still complain. They've produced so many types of sounds over the years but still sound like DragonForce, not many bands can do that. This is why they're my favourite band.

I'm not a big fan of the chorus to be honest. It's a bit too Alestorm-y. I like Alestorm, but the party vibe (or at least _this_ party vibe) just doesn't really mesh with DragonForce's sound well.
Outside of that, no complaints here, and if this is the only song that has these party vibes, then I'm not worried about the quality of the upcoming album. Hopefully it'll be just as good as Reaching Into Infinity!

Man, you cannot get better than Dragonforce, those drum fills after the chorus are legendary and what is that im the background? It sounds like a bass, if it is she is really carrying it, the synths and Marc's singing still unbelievable, and obviously Herman and Sam just the greatest duo in power metal history. Honestly I love this song and can't wait to hear more, this whole experience kinda feels Cyberpunk-ish

Wasn't sure about this one from the first vocal preview, but the whole song is really fun. I still don't love the bridge part, but I like it a lot more in context. This is a fun little song that kinda reminds me of Heartbreak Armageddon from the last album. Good to hear that the new bassist is getting a lot of attention in the mix and not just playing the rhythm part and getting lost under the guitars. good stuff.

Dragonforce have promised "their most ambitious album yet". They give us this very slick pop-ready song, combined with arguably their most MTV-ready music video. Others who think "pop" is a bad word might see all this as negative, but Pop-Metal fusions are en vogue right now and Dragonforce making Pop music actually sounds very promising. and theyre not gonna sell out or stop shredding - the tracks they produced for BABYMETAL are already promising enough to support this dream. for the life of me i cant wait for this new album.

This sounds like a softer version of Gloryhammer's "dance" songs (Universe on Fire, Hootsforce). Not really what I come to Dragonforce for, but it's good to see they're still having fun. I just hope the rest of the new album has stronger material.

@@dragon08mike5 it would have taken very little effort to learn exactly why they haven't released any new music in 4 years. They wrote heaps of music right after the release of Extreme Power Metal and were searching for a better record label contract. Covid actually helped them write.
@@dragon08mike5 They weren't lazy at all. They wrote a LOT of new material, but there were a lot of complicating factors such as: basically no international travel for the better part of 2 years (important when your band members live in 3 different countries), needing a better label contract, needing to actually hire a manager because Herman could no longer do it all himself, and also finishing the Extreme Power Metal tour cycle that got cut short after just 5 dates in 2020. They weren't actively recording until this year, but they were far from "lazy" in between things there.

It's funny that along with dress code, guitars are there to embody specific different styles of alternative music, and are very spot on:
- BC Rich for death metal
- Jackson for old school heavy and thrash metal
- Schecter for emo and metalcore.
And they all rock together

I can't count how many times I watch this MV and im not sure how many comments i left last several times but Dragonforce knows how to hook a live crowd when touring venues and they have several kings, queens, and jacks in their hands plus running with Dethklok and Babymetal makes all three of them the Trigods of Power, Wisdom and courage. on a side note, this song and through fire and flames plus pixel prison are god tier

Been a fan since their demo days in 2002. Can't believe it's been over 20 years since Valley of the Damned came out, I was a freshman in college at the time and managed to grab the last copy available at the old Virgin Megastore in NYC!
They created a whole new dance with this song, and I think everyone should do it at their shows lol
I've seen people complain that this is not DF/weakest of their material, but this is just another great, catchy tune and how the recent sound has been. The vocals are soaring and fun just like a lot of their recent stuff, and the guitars are still shredding out some nice riffs. Not to mention that bass groove! This would have fit PERFECTLY on the Extreme Power Metal album.
People must not realize how long Dragonforce has been around and just how many albums and sounds they've had. I didn't even like them in middle/high school. I'm 30 now...and I've come to like many albums of them, old and new. The best part about that, is there's something for nearly everyone
I personally haven't enjoyed their stuff as much as their first four albums + Power Within, that said it's still a catchy tune that's been stuck in my head for days. I just personally love the more fantasy based songs more.
