I remember watching this last year, while debating on which Prop Firm shall I go with. After some research, I chose FTMO.
The charges and allegations are very damning, I doubt that MFF will survive after something like that. Severe penalty and jailtime is a possibility

Respect, good evolution of the channel to be bagging this kind of interview 👏 and really eye opening, naive to think ftmo are the only prop firm that can do it and do it well...might take a look. Though that 5% equity draw down rule is awful (sorry) fix that they would be able to go head to head with ftmo.

When you fully understand the DD rule its actually a really smart rule , its almost forces you to lock in profit or move sl to a point of profit which of course is good for you and good for them . a good way to look at the rule is at the start of the new day just treat your equity as balance simple as that

I am not sure about the daily DD rule.... if I am in running profit say I am up 5% running....and then it drops to just below break even level....does this mean I violated the rule? or its 5% from breakeven level?

The very easy way to keep your account is to always consider your EQUITY as BALANCE. IF YOU RISK 1% EVERY TRADE

Good to hear MFF is establishing itself further in the space giving traders more options. In my opinion every proptrader should be funded with 2-3 prop firms just to be diversified and for trading never trade them at the same time, do one day one company the other day the other one. So that if one is in drawdown the other one probably isnt and can still give you a salary for the month. Interms of MFF....What I think MFF needs to offer /improve would also to have Ctrader as a trading plattform. It is a way better and professional plattform than MT5. Hope they will do that in the future.
That's not a bad idea actually. And I would rather have MT5 than cTrader, but my opinion is worthless because I have never tried cTrader, so I can't really give a good opinion, but I appreciate yours!
@@KimmelTrading definitely try cTrader when you get a chance. You can do things like, when you open an order there will be an automatic SL and TP with your preferences on every order. Further it can do stuff like take automatic partial take profits and set your SL on even at the same time. Also the order mask is good calculates your position size risk on account and stuff like that.

Well done man. It's really a wonderful section with the CEO man. There's a question actually which I was expecting to hear. But it seems no one has actually asked this question and I think it could really make a big difference. And this is the Question: If let's say you have an account for instance an Evaluation Live account. And you end up being in profit after a violation was detected. For instance a $10k account and you end up at maybe $10500 after a violation. Why don't mff give a profit split to the trader and just archive the account? Or at least even give a free retry. The trader violated the account right but its in profit. You know what I mean? And I think this could actually go a long way and it could be a game changer in the industry. Thanks man and well done. You are doing well

"In order to receive 50% of your profits if you have violated your account and it is in profit you must comply with the following 3 parameters:
1) You must have a stop loss on every trade
2) You must not be “all-in” on your trades and violate from a single trade or single batch of trades
3) You must have traded 10 trading days."

Recently funded by mff and I must say the 5% drawdown limit I love it, it helps you stay aware of how much you can lose in a day almost a safety reminder as you will

I'm joining the accelerated program MFF, manage to get account growth once, then I lose my cool and start losing and fail the program. I hope they would change the restriction for over the weekend trade. cause it pushes me to become a scalper, a day trader rather than do swing trade.

Before watching this interviewed I assumed the reason why they had the equity drawdown was because they wanted traders to secure partial profits in order for both the trader and firm to make that profit and not lose it. Glad to see I was right about it. Im a trader who always takes partial profits at TP1 or TP2 depending on price action. So the equity drawdown is no problem for me. It may seem like a big con to most traders having a equity dd. But I see it as a good thing, having a win/win situation. In a sense forcing traders to take partials can show consistent profit overtime

Why would MFF want to fund traders that are incapable of managing risk themselves? That's what the DD limits are for.
Traditional Prop firms do it, they send you home for the day. It's called a "park bench" day (where you can go to the park and sit on the bench and think about why you couldn't manage your risk).
Yes I think it's a cool idea too. Since they sometimes copy your trades, I think they have the right to help control your risk.
The drawdown rule being based on the equity is annoying and wish it was changed based on Balance but he definitely did make a valid point about securing your profits and not watching your money go away

@@KimmelTrading thank you very much for that Kimmel, I started trading 2 years ago, I am just finishing my first 2 months being consisted with profits and my strategy,psychology and discipline to follow it, and I had done my homework on prop firms and "traders/influencers" and sadly I am seeing first hand its full of toxicity, my recommendation for serius traders is to stay away from does circles of people and focus on your path as a trader mainly. Thx for the response btw.
I understand that rule and it's to protect their funds. Yes trades can pull back and still end up profitable but what if it doesn't return??? You have to be risk aware, that meant traders have to learn to be patient

I've just seen it. Thank you for bringing that to my attention. You can easily go around that by setting two trades for the same position. Meaning: if you want to enter in 50 lots, just enter in 2 25 lot trades

Im fully funded with MFF, and in my opinion if they abolished the 5% profitable drawdown rule it would be the best prop firm out there
It would be an absolute no brainer! But I guess they are not thinking about it hahaha

The rule I am talking about is the 5% profitable drawdown, for example if I have a position open and that position is 15k in profit at roll over tonight, and then tomorrow price pulls back to 10k profit then I would have violated the account
