@@SamLoose They we’re supposed to be introducing a new desk and the 500 series. Also Mixbus32c which I use along with Logic Pro are introducing Atmos
My good friend works for them. They were there upstairs!
Was that the live sound bit? I got the impression there was far more upstairs that I didn’t see, but just didn’t have the time.
@@SamLoose Yeah that’s where QSC etc was. There were booths I still didn’t see and I was walking around since Monday lol!
Just stumbled across your channel. I have to say, I feel like Atmos is gimmicky and Dolby has spent too much developing it, so they're pushing it to Audio.
My honest opinion is that unless Atmos/Spatial Audio etc is adopted by the Everyman listening whilst walking to work, it will go the same way as quadraphonic sound. It’s currently cost prohibitive to create and consume the format, so it’s not something that will soon be widely adopted. As time goes on, who knows?
