In between pours, does this kettle automatically begin reheating the water when it is placed back on the base ? Or do you need to press an extra (start) button ?
Good afternoon! Tell me, in the previous version of the kettle, there was a longer spout, in the new one it became shorter, did this somehow affect the jet? Has it become harder to control the jet? Was the water supply faster? I will be grateful for the answer!
💔 ahhh! don't make me choose haha 😂 - EKG for simple low profile aesthetics. Personally I can't go past the handle on the EKG + it does heat a little faster and quieter
Thanks for the video. I live a very routine life and would love a kettle that reaches temperature by an automatic on feature based on the time of day. Is this possible with this kettle?
Hi .my kettle tares whenever I press the heat button .i set it at 94 but when I press the heat button it goes back to 40 and it doesn’t boil the water.what could be the problem
The number display is very bad and you can't repear it, some of lines shine bright and some of them is dead. I had higher expectations of the kettle in that price range. Also bad support. Looking for new kettle..
If you set the heat - it will automatically begin heating to that temperature. If you hit the heat button - it will either boil - or you've pressed a pre-set button and then it'll heat to that - so all you should need to do is turn the kettle on and select a heat and it'll begin to heat to that selected temp 😀
There are few cons with this kettle which I found out after purchasing: 1. You can’t use the timer while the kettle is on the base. This feature is important especially if you are brewing tea gong fu style. 2. The warm up feature turns off every time you put the kettle back on the base. So you have to keep pressing the warm up button every time you use the kettle. 3. When you switch on the kettle, the preset temperature will flash few times and then auto start by itself. There should have been an option for starting the kettle when we want and not the moment we turn on the kettle. Oxo goose neck pour over kettle is the simplest, easiest, quickest, and most functional kettle I have tried so far.

Thanks for your feedback about the Brewister, which I was thinking of buying for my Gongfu tea. Clearly this model will not be suitable with all that fluffing around with the kettle, ruining the meditative mood. I actually want to buy the Oxo one, but it’s STILL not available here in Australia. I can only buy it online, but will need a power converter. Cheers
Thanks Carl! The flow is really good - the balance in the jug is just right - it doesn't feel like you're going to over tip and speed up the pour - however the handle on the EKG allows more control with options for the grip you use to hold it 👍
I'm sorry, what's better? I thought the opposite, in the previous version of the kettle, a more uniform flow of water, due to the fact that the spout is longer. Or I'm wrong?
My Brewista Artisan Kettle’s base was burned due to a friend’s mistake, and all I need is a replacement part. However, Brewista refuses to provide either the part or a paid repair service, expecting me to throw away a perfectly working product. This isn’t a cheap item, and their lack of after-sales support is unacceptable. If you’re considering buying from Brewista, don’t. Stay away from this brand.
Love this kettle, zero complaints for anyone thinking of getting one.

Hey, any idea of min water lvl in kettle when operating? Great video, thanks!

Thanks for the video! This is super helpful! Is there a way to default to Farenheit?
Yes 👍 When the base is powered on, press the °F / °C button to change the temperature display to either Fahrenheit or Celsius.
Awesome video as usual. Simple and informative.
Glad you like them!
How is the flow of water? It just slow or when you bend it became stronger?
when you tilt the jug it'll become stringer for sure
Hey Josh, what do you prefer, this or the Fellow Stag EKG?

I have this kettle and yes, that's possible.
Is there any way to turn it off? I just cannot find any way to turn it off😕
It's on Stand-by most of the time. No way to turn it off so to speak
What is the MINIMUM capacity?
It is 0.4L

very strange. Yes might be an issue in the base that could be easily repaired or replaced 😀
The number display is very bad and you can't repear it, some of lines shine bright and some of them is dead. I had higher expectations of the kettle in that price range. Also bad support. Looking for new kettle..
Does V3 come in 600ml too or just 1L??
just 1L 👍
Is it double walled ? how loud is it ?
around 65dB
We set on desired temperature.. and tap on heat buttons its goes to the higher temperature. What is the problem

same issue its not stopping to boil the water even i put lower temperature

How is it different from the 600 ml version?
It holds more water predominantly. They have removed the auto-start function from it and improved the overall quality of the kettle
Could you please tell me how long the cable is?
70cm
How is it compared to the Oxo Brew ?
Hi there, sorry haven't tried the OXO Brew, but Ill take a look now 👍
cool! Can you also make a review of timemore's electric gooseneck kettle? :)
Great suggestion!
@@AlternativeBrewing it would be great if you make the comparison between Brewista, Fellow, and timemore, those are the most competitive ones
Great video! Still think I will choose the Fellow Stagg EKG over this. How is pouring compared to that? (As in flow, quicker, slower)

Is this the latest model?
Ye sit is Version 3 😀 2021
The spout is way better on the previous version. The version 3 doesn't have 90⁰ poured water anymore
I'm sorry, what's better? I thought the opposite, in the previous version of the kettle, a more uniform flow of water, due to the fact that the spout is longer. Or I'm wrong?
How much degrees is the water poured though?

Usually local suppliers can help if outside of warranty period, depending on your location 🫶
it looks like a break dancer 😂
It’s a better looking Bonavita
