Grandson is Canadian, however this was filmed in Clapham, London. I was here but further to the back, he asked his fans the day before to come to this location and sprung a surprise concert which included filming this music video. He is insane live and was just an insane experience!
This was the first Grandson song I heard when the single first dropped. I really love the vibe of the song, but it does leave me wanting more in some areas. I kind of like the building tension and... in a way almost like how it doesn't resolve? But I think I would also prefer it to resolve. In a very weird way, how Taylor Swift's song "Illicit Affairs" has a building tension until the final minute or so of the song and it gives you that kind of release. It doesn't have to be a big explosion of full band, but a big melody shift or something.
I was a voracious reader as a child, so there were a lot of words I pronounced for quite a long time incorrectly because I just tried to say them phonetically and it wasn't correct. As for Grandson I'm with Johnny, I liked it quite a bit, but I do wish the second chorus went a little harder. :P
so grandson is a solo canadian artist that lives in america. his music is usually about political topics barely anyone talks about. his latest album 'ILYIT' is a lot about his personal issues and topics that affect him. i would describe his style as alt-rock mixed with trap. i would highly recommend his songs "We Did It!!!", "stigmata", "Oh No!", "6:00" and "Blood//Water",which is his most popular song, if you are interested in his more heavier songs. but its hard to pick out specific songs because grandson has such a unique sound there is no song i wouldnt recommend.
I hope you guys react to more grandson, I see a lot of reactors do his stuff. When the bomb goes is more drum heavy and Heather is different vibe all together.
Finally someone has reacted to a song from his new album! Please listen to more grandson, I haven’t seen many reactions to his songs so it’d be appreciated if you could check out his other songs

Please please PLEASE listen to grandson’s older stuff like “stigmata” it’s so much heavier and aggressive
Give thoughts and prayers a listen, a bit heavier with hard hitting vocals
