All I can say is amazing! I'm 46 and I love the tenacity. I still hunt the wild places and I can appreciate the work and dedication it takes to just attempt something like this.
Loved it Tim, thank you for your videos and the style in which you film them. Alaska bound for caribou in 6 weeks. Guys like you have inspired me to chase my dreams. Thank you!!
What a beautiful bear! Way to stay after it and not give up. Not many guys in their 50s would go that hard and that far. Solo Hunter for the win as usual!
High wind and altitude probably played a part in that. Nerves as well. I know my .308 is only good to about 500 in the PA mountains for me comfortably. It doesn't like to shoot well with elevation changes.
Alaska Fish and Game Collared a young sow Grizz back in 90's in Tok Area,,,they tracked her that spring,, after Killing 19 moose calves they decided to shoot her,, she wasnt eating them . I floated the Noatak for 18 days in 1983, i saw 4 Grizz on that hunt, the last 2 hunts in unit 23 i have seen, 34 Grizz and 42 Grizz,,,most were Sow's with Cubs,,,,,did not see ONE moose in 29 days of Hunting,,this was one of the best moose hunting spots in the Brooks,,,,,,WAS
@@markgray6982 i'm a shooter in australia and only shoot introduced species such as rabbit , fox , pig , we also have a wild dog and feral cat problem in aus that devastate native ground animals and birds , i've also watched with great interest and learned that since the 1973 protection of bears and their population growth that other large native animal populations have suffered as a result , its a shame the wild life authorities cant come up with a balance
This is a legit question -- I get that it's a massively huge undertaking to get one of these bears, and the adventure looks incredible. Are they good to eat, too?

fascinating how the second bear immediately stood up and looked in the direction of the echo from the shot. It scanned its surroundings looking for the threat and was obviously very confused and on high alert. Cool too see that kind of bear behavior.
They shut us out of the Noatak Corridor 30 years ago,,,they created a Predator Sanctuary,,,now the Bears and Wolves have gone Insane in unit 23,,,be careful what you ask for
Some people think because they live somewhere they own the land🤔😳 we are only care takers of the land! If your such a whiner why aren’t you out there instead of being a complainer! Probably because you only watcher and not a doer!
If your trying to be funny Alan, by trying to get a rise out of simpler minded folks, it's not funny. But ignorant! If your being serious, you're still acting ignorant! I'm not saying your a fool. "Congratulations"?????????????????you just diluted the gene pool of our last remaining majestic creatures on this planet. As you can see from its companion bear attending to its fallen mate, they are intelligent animals. I can assure you that the God of Light had nothing to do with your prayer, so I'm not sure what God you are calling to,that allows such things, especially in this age of biodiversity loss. By the way.....that bear was much more "beautiful" while it's heart was beating....the days of this kind of sport and "thrill" are dead and buried.
Because we dont Alaska to be like Yellowstone,,,,,,,in the 80's every Meadow in the Fall would have a Bull and his Ladies,,,EVERY MEADOW,,,now you are lucky to see a handful if that of Elk,,,,,,the Wolves have destroyed the Elk there and in Parts of Idaho, Montana and Wyoming and are moving into Colorado and other states,,,,No hunting means Predator Booms and Die-offs,,,,,,,or you can have balance,,,,,,dont tell me they only kill what they eat,,,you have no idea what you are talking about,,,tell that to the 19 Elk in Wisconsin
Your only complaining because your not man enough yourself so you have to whine when anyone else is willing to put out the great effort and expense to get it done! Sounds to me like a mom’s boy 🤔😳😂
Awesome! Great job on a great bear! Thanks for bringing us along for the ride!
Great 2part series had me hooked all the way completely ingored the wife lol. Good job guys thanks for this epic adventure 🤘🤠

What is the rifle caliber and scope setup? Great video! Congrats on the bear!
Was going to ask the same thing
Don't know, but I think a 340 weatherby would make a good one.
He is using a Tikka hence the Tikka logo! But don’t know the caliber my guess would be a 300 win mag!
Truly amazing Timbo, I don’t even know you mate but I am honestly proud of you 👏 that is real living and a true hunters dream
Nicely done my friend!!!
I was waiting for part 2. Well done ! 👍
Great shot in that wind. Awesome man.
Fantastic scenery throughout this hunt. What an amazing place.
Always cracks me up when they say "I can't believe how beautiful these are"........DEAD ! Thats funny !
Awesome hunt guys!
Congrats on an awesome bear! Glad they stuck around long enough to give you a shot! Nice series and wonderful views.

It did look as tho the other bear was much bigger, but might jus be me!👏👏
💪🏼😎👍🏼
I have always heard that they don't taste great but are the mountain grizzlies any better? Less fish more veggies
Awesome video man
How far did you have to shoot? Congrats!
You know what’s funny about Austin’s little Texas map on his phone.. I know EXACTLY where they shot this bear. Gotta try harder than that..
What will you do when your body can no longer handle the physical abuse?? Question
My favorite part was how the captured the beauty and majesty of this amazing adventure. So good
Well done 👍🏼 guys. Beautiful bear 🐻.
Gorgeous bear. Great job 👏
Great hunt guys👊
How did he taste?
Long trek from Texas,yes sir

What bullet did you use? It seems like it performed terribly.

Someone please educate me as I’m not from the northern hemisphere. Why are these bears being shot and killed ?
There are enough of these bears on the landscape where some can be harvested without damaging the population.

What does bear taste like ?
wow good job very pro is in the shoot good day for 3 brother i from usa mn
So awesome! 😀
Whenever I see hunters and a dead animal, I come straight to the comments to see all the pissed of PETA. 😊
Successful solo hunter pro tip: be vague with your hunting location.
I have noticed that covid has made me out of practice in uneven terrain my ankle are so bad now.
Awesome bear! Good shootin!

In BC before the banned the hunt it was the law to take the meat too. Bear is good for pepperoni and makes some of the best sausage I’ve had.

WOW! Just WOW!
Congratulations Tim on an awesome Bear! Was wondering what caliber and rifle you are using for this hunt?
Definitely not in Texas! 😂👍 congratulations 🎉
Yanks are pretty good at trophy hunting back in their towns and cities
Congrats Tim! Great Griz and excellent video.
From a distance it's just a target practice try it with a bow
Uhh no. Nothing wrong with that practice. Go flex your testosterone somewhere else pal.
cant say i'm a fan of native animals being shot but i understand the bear population needs to be controlled to protect other large native animals
Not only does it help control the population but it pays for the fish and game department and helps employ a lot of people that live in Alaska
Sweet bear
Congratulations Tim, what a beautiful beautiful bear! Did you make a rug out of his hide or a mount?
Congratulations and great job! Amazing video and adventure, makes me proud to be an American and celebrate our freedoms - Happy 4th of July everybody!
What a great bear and adventure guys!! Thanks for sharing it with us
Mount it standing up holding a flat screen TV
Kind of sad how the sow went to see what was wrong with him.
👍

Pity the bear didn't get you instead, now that would be fair game.
Your name doesn't check out, you sound like the snowflake. What are you doing watching this video if you can't handle the reality of it?
Is this another Bear taken from a Alaskan Resident? How did you get your tag? Alaskans are sick of too much non-resident hunting.
They shut us out of the Noatak Corridor 30 years ago,,,they created a Predator Sanctuary,,,now the Bears and Wolves have gone Insane in unit 23,,,be careful what you ask for
I'm sick of seeing Alaskan residents come down to the lower 48 to hunt too. Two way street, shut up.
