Dark is the Night is a famous Soviet song associated with the Great Patriotic War. It was originally performed by Mark Bernes in the 1943 war film Two Soldiers. The song was composed by Nikita Bogoslovsky, lyrics by Vladimir Agatov specially for the film Two Soldiers
Dark night, only bullets are whistling in the steppe, Only the wind is wailing through the telephone wires, stars are faintly flickering ... In the dark night, my love, I know you are not sleeping, And, near a child's crib, you secretly wipe away a tear. How I love the depths of your gentle eyes, How I want to press my lips to them! Death is not terrible, we've met with it more than once in the steppe ... And now here it looms over me once again, You await my return, sitting sleepless near a cradle, And so I know that nothing will happen to me!

We're miles apart. And although stars are lit in the sky Yet the dark steppe between us tonight feels so troubled and empty I do believe you'll remain ever faithful and true It's this faith that gave courage to me in the fiercest of battles And I'm at peace 'cause know I'm returning to you And whatever befalls me, for sure, I'll return in fine fettle I fear no death. noir jazz is probably the genre i'd say this is. that has more of the melancholic stuff. try searching up noir big band jazz. i can't think of specific instrumental things like this song. you would probably like chansons from the 30s/40s if you like this kinda music but it has vocals. laura by woody herman isn't a chanson and has vocals but hey it kinda fits the vibe of sadness. more big-bandy/40s-esque though. i feel like cool jazz would also be alright if you like this kinda stuff, not usually as sad as this kinda music though. cool jazz is more soloing and less big band stuff so idk.

Za depeszą depeszę przez mrok
Wiatr po drutach przesyła
Wiem że tę noc
Znowu spędzisz do świtu bez snu
Przy łóżeczku dziecinnym i znów
W oczach łzy moja miła
Jakże bym chciał
Gdy tak płaczesz scałować te łzy
Jakże bym chciał
Właśnie teraz przytulić czule
Ciemna dziś noc
Step rozdzielił nas czarny i zły
I dlatego nie słyszysz mych słów
Gdy wiatr świszcze i kule
Wierzę i wiem
Żeś ty moja i ja jestem twój
I ta wiara serdeczna nie raz
Była tarczą od kuli
Błogo mi tak
Choć śmiertelny rozpętał się bój
I z uśmiechem już myślę o dniu
Gdy mnie znowu przytulisz
Co mi tam śmierć
Choć na stepie złowieszcza jej moc
Nad głową mą
Tak jak teraz zakrąży srożej
Czekasz mnie wiem
Przy łóżeczku dziecinnym w tę noc
I dlatego wiem dobrze że nic

A noir detective drama but it’s set in Soviet Russia
We making it out of Dustbowl with this one🗣️🗣️🗣️🔥🔥🔥🔥🐟🐟🐟🐟🦅🦅
so real
Average MTC Flashbacks:
V tyomnuyu nochʹ ty, lyubimaya, znayu, ne spishʹ,
I u det·skoy krovatki taykom ty slezu utirayeshʹ.
Kak ya lyublyu glubinu tvoikh laskovykh glaz,
Kak ya khochu k nim prizhatʹsya seychas gubami!
Tyomnaya nochʹ razdelyayet, lyubimaya, nas,
I trevozhnaya, chyornaya stepʹ prolegla mezhdu nami.
Veryu v tebya, v doroguyu podrugu moyu,
Eta vera ot puli menya tyomnoy nochʹyu khranila…
Radostno mne, ya spokoyen v smertelʹnom boyu,
Znayu, vstretishʹ s lyubovʹyu menya, chto b so mnoy ni sluchilosʹ.
Smertʹ ne strashna, s ney vstrechalisʹ ne raz my v stepi.
Vot i teperʹ nado mnoyu ona kruzhit·sya.
Ty menya zhdyoshʹ i u det·skoy krovatki ne spishʹ,
I poetomu znayu: so mnoy nichego ne sluchit·sya!
Oh man, I really love these kind of instrumentals. Can someone recommend artists/bands/whatever who has these kind of tunes?
Most 1910s-1960s music sound like this. Try searching for ballroom music or something
youtube up some Tea Dance
noir jazz is probably the genre i'd say this is. that has more of the melancholic stuff. try searching up noir big band jazz. i can't think of specific instrumental things like this song. you would probably like chansons from the 30s/40s if you like this kinda music but it has vocals. laura by woody herman isn't a chanson and has vocals but hey it kinda fits the vibe of sadness. more big-bandy/40s-esque though.
i feel like cool jazz would also be alright if you like this kinda stuff, not usually as sad as this kinda music though. cool jazz is more soloing and less big band stuff so idk.
Search the LA Noire OST
This is a nice New Year's ball kind of thing.
Thank you
fantastique!🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩
Pragtig.
Btw am Afrikaans, and the last part of your username has a slightly different meaning here
Pragtig means beatiful right? In dutch we would write it as prachtig. Pretty much same pronounciation. Is the poes a body part by any chance?
@@KOningNoviPoes Yes! Our languages pretty much seem to be 90% the same, except for a few key differences in grammar and "het" causing confusion.
And yes it is, so I'm guessing you're aware xD
Super underrated channel though, definitely looking forward to it growing soon

Да
I feel like the HOI IV TNO Devs should take this song and make a superevent with it if Russia unites and gets RK Moskowien, or even RK Kaukasien as well. And I already see the quote either "A new era for Russia", or "Is it finally over for Russia?"
Get you get Moscow now? Haven't played in a long time
can we have an 1 hour version..?
I know that I'm asking after 2 years but yeah...
maybe one day
Feels like if Columbo was made in the Soviet Union.
This music is very lovely and it's like a film noir. Definitely use it to get girls running to you.
Indeed
I can hear the lyrics but I like this version as well
It feels like ending screen of war movie
Pov: if James Bond was born in Russia
I can see this being the trailer music of a Fallout game set in Russia
Great version! Do you know who performed this? Thanks
Nope, I'm the first to upload it on youtube. I got it from a game mod. But the mod maker didn't actually perform it. I guess we'll never know.
Is this the one from the HOI4 Tannu Tuva mod?
Idk, never played it.
¡¡¡EXCELENTE....!!!
Fellow ukrainian, appreciate the music 👍
theres so much to say about this one message....
@@JackWojak agreed, i don't even know where to begin.
Perfect song to dance slowly with your girl while kissing her with love
Great tannu tuva
