Been using z too larger size for awhile now with great success on dropshot but haven't seen the smaller size . Thanks again for great dirt . Caught a good one this evening on our lake .
I have been doing this for a few years now,...the key is the line placement. Al Linder did a video of this called mopping technique for walleyes. His was more of a slow drift technique vs. a vertical presentation. Deadly!!!
Just started following this series. But so far I'm more than impressed with the footage and explaining everything. Will be back for more that's for sure .
Another awesome video Z! I really enjoy using that baby Ztoo on s casting Dropshot. The beauty is the Elaztech floats so less snags if you relax the rod tip. But yes, dimiki is great too! Love the AK shiner color best 🙂
Hey Zona, is this a technique that can come in to play any time you are using a drop shot? I’ve heard people say that this technique is not as effective in the summer. Don’t know if that’s true or maybe if it depends on the part of the country you live in.
Nuggets! Thank you!
love the show!!
Your a legend
LOL Thanks!
Dude you cheatin. You got big daddy combs in the boat!
Ned Rig and Damiki rig baby FTW
Show Dirt is a word Z. It's two words and it's AWESOME. Keep'em coming.
How do you get on there
Thanks! Will do!
Z man love this show Your the best host on bassmaster love your energy brother!
Thank you!
What cover should it be thrown around if you blind casting? Rock? Weeds? Reeds?
Z, have you tried it on a lake like Table Rock? Drop shot works so well there, but haven't had much luck on highland reservoirs with the damiki.
Great question. I was going to ask the same thing.

Would you use the same color of the baby z too in michiana or would you go with a more bluegill looking color ?
It's basically a oversize crappy jig 😂

Do you jig it off the bottom?
Yes- generally within a few feet above the bottom
How would you fish it either from the bank i was gunna say kayak to but i guss you can do the same and vertically jig it
Its called moping
Dude!
Just making a comment because it helps. Go Bears!!!
GO BEARS!
Caught a bunch of smallies, a big northern, carp and some sheephead this weekend on the same rig
This also works super well on smallies and spots that are schooled up during the late summer.

Place the Damiki under the dropshot as the weight ,you will then have the (ZONA double banger rig,) can catch 2 fish at one time !

I love how the minnow bait on a jig head is now called a “damiki rig”
I know right? Been fishing with a jig and plastic like this since I was young lol
How in the hell do you only have 29k subs? This stuff is gold
that double shindo knot though!
Like fishn for crappie
Hold my beer! I'm gonna catch a dad gum stud! Lol. Love the Dirt Z, keep em coming... Oh btw the damiki catches DoDos in East TN...
