Zezok H He was originally just going to be a guy who would hit on any woman including his female friends, but Matt Leblanc didn’t like that so they changed it, made him more lovable as someone who would see his female friends as sisters.
And if you noticed it wasn’t just Joey who changed over the course of the series.

The problem with keeping Joey's hairstyle is that it would have been costly and difficult to maintain for Matt Leblanc because his hair greyed early. Aside from keeping with the time's style.

I remember watching Friends for the first time ( didn’t know it was a big hit either ) and not liking it in first episodes... I even thought of not watching it anymore... but after that line

I laughed out loud so hard and started to like this show and continued watching... this moment isn’t talked much but this is the reason I’m a fan of the show
They’re all practically GLOWING in the first season, just look at Joey and Phoebe 😍 And Monica and Rachel’s hair is just 😘👌
Note: they all still look great until the last season, I’m just highlighting how they radiate more youthful vibes in the early episodes.

and filming style was so different; camera had lower resolution so everything is soooo smooth, and a light was much warmer. later seasons have this modern, more sterile look.

But even at 10 or 11, I started to realize how repetitive the mixups got. Still loved the humor and definitely had a thing for Janet even more than for Chrissy. But I did notice the heavy reliance on that plot device, so Chandler is hilariously spot on here...

I thought the first episode of this show I ever say was hilarious. I also had immediate affection because it was the first depiction I ever saw of my generation as actual adults. It still makes me miss my 20s.

Am I the only who thinks Season 1 Joey, particularly the first few episodes, is...well, not boring, but...I don't know. He just seems so off. I guess because I'm used to the Joey that he came to be in Season 2 . I'm glad the creators made the decision to change him going forward.

Threes Company... Such a good show. That episode was the one where Mr. Roper and Jack think they slept together in bed. Janet and Chrissy were hilarious making fun of Jack for that in the episode as well. Great episode
in 1st season everyone behaved very charming and stylist... but in 2nd season they found their character and it continued till 10th season
Ehhhh, season 1-4 their characterisations were relatively consistent. However 5-10 there was a lot of Flanderisation for all characters.
They should have put it in the contract that the actors had to stay in shape throughout the show. That way Perry would have had professionals looking out for him and his addiction issues wouldn't have gotten out of hand.
When I saw this scene first expected Joey to says: "Well, I can do that" and starts to eat the entire bowl looking on the fork by each bite for the ring.
