    Good vid, lots of good tips. My 2017 grizz chews threw break pads.. put ebc pads on all 4 corners at over $200 can. Lasted 6 months 1000km and they were gone again and I don't use my breaks much. Cheap 1s on line last longer and u can do all for corners for $40. I usually do my diffs when I do my oil. Keep them the same easier to remember when you to do next. Lol 🤙🍻

    Just installed a 20” lightbar on my 2014 grizzly 700. Last winter I put on heat demons hand grips and thumb warmer to go with my 60” kfi plow setup and vrx3500 warn winch. Gotta get some iron Baltic skid plates next and some storage boxes.

    The Renegade has a single brake lever as well. I miss my Grizzly with the two brake levers.
    But one thing I do like is the brake lock. Which yamaha doesn't have.

    • @MainvilleATV
      @MainvilleATV  2 года назад +1

      Yeah it was the same for my Outlander. At one point this wasn't the case for CanAm but they decided it wasn't necessarily useful.

    Just so you know, Yamaha calls for only 40 ft/lbs on the lug nuts not 75. I have a 2018 Grizz 700 and I don’t do more than 50

    I’d love to get my old 06 Rhino going again but it needs a motor and transmission, I broke the gears in the transmission which back in 2011 was gonna be $3500 so I decided to get a CanAm Commander because I was in need of something for work.

    Excellent tips on the grizzly brakes! Do you use anti-sieze on the threads of those hex pins that hold the pads in? I have a 2014 that needs pads...hoping I can get those pins out without issue.

    • @LAUDROffroad
      @LAUDROffroad Год назад

      I do not. Antiseize/grease etc, in dusty conditions actually attracts and holds dirt and moisture. Clean and dry is your best friend

    • @factionfx
      @factionfx Год назад +1

      @@LAUDROffroad Well, dangit, I guess I'll find out in 5-10 years when I put new brake pads on mine. My 14 threads were super clean. Could not believe it. I added anti sieze when reassembling. replaced brake fluid while I had it apart and used EBC severe duty pads. Stops better than stock now!

      If they weep hole breather was also routed from the bottom of the water pump that is the hose. That is an indicator that your water pump is on its way out or shot, need to be replaced
