- This is the beginning part and the ending part of track two on the Field of Dreams (The Decision to Build the Field). The end of this track one of my favorite parts of the score, so I tried my best to replicate it! Enjoy!
Tears... I will miss him so much, but we'll always have his music!
windsongshf Brother with your comment itself I came to know that James Sir is no more! I can't believe this! What is happening to this world! Why the bad things happens always to good ones?Am also Missing James Sir a lot in my life Bro! RIP!
So amazing. Gave me goosebumps! Very good work.
Many people don't know that this film's original score was nominated for an Oscar. I love how Horner established all the main themes early in the film with piano and keyboards, then amplified them with a full orchestral rendition at the movie's climax. It really makes the final act all the more moving. I absolutely love this film and its original score. Horner is a genius.
I want this music played at my funeral. I LOVE it. This music is proof that art is important.
I remember one of my last trips into the old Comiskey Park. We we're just hanging around after most of the fans had filtered out of the ballpark. Nancy Faust played a similar arrangement. It caught the small group's attention and you could have heard a pin drop. Now every time I hear this when re-watching the movie, I think of that moment and all the good times I had at the old park.
Nearly 4 years since I commented on how much I love your version, I marked it as one of my favorite and I still listen to it.
This ALWAYS gives me the good chills
RIP James Horner (1953-2015)
You gave me a good cry tonight. I didn't expect it. My dad's birthday is today, and though he passed away many years ago, I miss him as muchif not more now then I did then. Thanks. You play amazingly well!
The melody that is played at 1:08 and again at the very end is without a doubt the most beautiful piece of music I have ever heard.
Casey McKinney same
Excellent, excellent, EXCELLENT job... just got done watching the movie for the 23 millionth time, did a search for the music, and found this. Thanks so much for sharing man, gonna play this video A LOT...
The music of this movie has always moved me so much. In sadness lies truth. In truth lies salvation.
Absolutely wonderful....Thank you for playing this. Beautiful music, Beautiful movie that has touched so many of us!!
the first cue, is exact inversion starting a 5th away. The way he mixes dissonant intervals with consonant intervals is so colourful. This is absolutely beautiful music. James Horner is a genius.
One of my favorite movie! everytime give me the great emotions like the first time that i saw it.. this movie and the Soundtrack is part of my life
it is exact inversion starting a perfect 5th away. it is sooo brilliant, the use of dissonant intervals resolving to consonant ones. James Horner is a genius, this cue has changed my life.
At 2:06 is one of the most haunting melodies in a movie I've ever heard.
The movie's scores were brillant. This sound so much to the origanal I almost cried. You've done exceptional work on this piece.
Beautiful just beautiful
i saw the movie more than 20 years ago, in london. since then, i seldom spend a week without this music in my mind. why? i don't know. just like some words put together can open minds and spirits. some musics can open space that lays inside everyone and take us to another dimension, where our dreams and hopes and memories at last reborn before our eyes, so close that you can almost touch them. that looks like Eden... no?
thanks mister horner, thanks jeremy
from a grateful french...
I love it. Great playing.
Great job with this. One of the best musical pieces in movies. I still listen to it every once in a while and the movie came out in 1989. Again, great job.

This is Amazing! this is my favorite score from my favorite Baseball movie! Please do a Tutorial or put the camera over your hands so i can learn this. I just got a new piano and it would be great for this to be its first great Song!!
"Hey... Dad? Wanna have catch?"
Ignore the haters. Haters gonna hate.
FoD music score would of worked great for the Ghost Player movie coming out in July but legal issues and getting the rights is tough and expensive. Ghost Player is a documentary about the extras from the movie Field of Dreams. There is a lot more at the ghost player web site.
Dear Jeremy,
I was wondering if you had written music for this either from music you own or music learned by ear. I was wondering if you could help me learn how to play this or have the chord changes. I have been trying to find this music through libraries and have not much success. One of my favorite movie themes and movies in general.
Thank you,
Mike Kasper
@gaarasangel123 absolutly fabulous music, but for a wedding? everyone gonna cry...

Briilant man what instrument you got .Much as I would like to think I could do it I can't but my daughter has a bsic machine and I reckon...
another moment of magic, listen to " miss clare remembers" from Enya watermark...
2:20 makes me cry
Have you seen the film Adam? This is a perfect reproduction of part of the score. "Step outside you Nazi cow."
Very nice! Where would I find the sheet music for this, what name/title would I look for it under?
cooool
Where in the hell is the sheet music to this movie, I can't find it anywhere!!!!!!!!!
Any chance you can do an overhead view? I'm a beginner on piano, but I'd love to learn to play this. It's hard to see from this angle though :( Field of Dreams best baseball movie of all time!

you are fucking amazing. can you do the piano piece of the main title?
Really? Sounds a little too somber and bittersweet for a wedding.
1:48 prince of Egypt stole this or what?
I noticed that too when POE came out... But I loved the melody all the same in both films😉
(I'm Jeremy, the author of this old account btw)
The moment when you load a collection with your favorite's composers music and suddenly you hear a cover. Look. I like covers but your cover shouldnt be in a list with top studio recordings. Should be in a cover collection.
you are adlibing in some of that! just play the original!
Recently a bunch of coworkers said "you like this movie? ". I was like "hell ya, top 15 of ALL TIME! FOR SURE!"
Awesome ! I wish i could do it!
The music of this movie has always moved me so much. In sadness lies truth. In truth lies salvation.
