For sure Faouzia is the real winner of the show - she always takes risks - play 4 different instruments - sang in 4 or 5 different languages - opens a lot of doors and will ever be very welcome in any concert in China - absolutely sure

Faouzia is my winner too! This was an amazing opportunity though, and she'll have a much expanded fan base, after this experience. 2024 seems to her year. Lots of new music plus the Singer competition. She must have graduated. She's been doing an engineering degree at the University if Manitoba. I think that's why her output hasnt been as prolific as we'd all like. But now she's everywhere! And as people discover her astonishing talent, I really believe she's on track to be a superstar. At least in this fan's fantasy. 🙂
I hope she got many new fans because of this. It definitely cemented my status as a fan. What an artist!

Dimash told Faouzia that a Chinese had to win the competition. Even Dimash was placed second... and he is a world-class singer.
He actually told her that.
I guess the best one can hope for is a lot of new fans and more exposure by competing
@@sgserene Dimash has said in a video that he said to Faouzia that he couldn’t sing the duet with her (as she’d asked him) because it had to be a Chinese singer to further Chinese- Canadian relations. That’s a different story.

@@moonlightsunshine7622 Dimash was recently on Instagram to clarify this instance of misinterpretation. The fact that he didn't make No.1 in 2017 is another issue.

I've been a Faouzia fan since 2021, hailing from Taiwan. To really get the inside scoop, you need to check out Weibo or Bilibili because a lot of it is in Chinese. Let me explain why the results of 《Singer 2024》 turned out the way they did.
First off, this competition has taught the world a unique Chinese concept that doesn’t exist in Western languages: "面子(miànzi)" Literally related to the concept of"face," it embodies a person or group's reputation in a class-conscious society, reflecting their self-worth and seeking social validation. Simply put, when someone loses "面子", it often triggers extreme protective behaviors to prevent disgrace or loss of honor.
To protect the Chinese singers' "面子", the show took a preemptive action. When you sign up to be a judge, they ask you about your "favorite singer" in the competition. You can see where this is going, right? During the finals, if most of the judges are fans of Chinese singers like Na Ying, the results become pretty predictable. The show can confidently claim there's no rigging, that it's all the judges' decisions. (Holy BS.)
Sorry, "saving 面子" is an inherent trait of us Chinese people, and in a dictatorial society, it manifests in a rather alarming manner.

Let's face it: this vocal performance is astounding, and what's more, it shows the extent of her ability on all levels. At this point, she must know that she won't win the competition, and even that she'll be 4th, which is totally inconceivable when you listen to the other artists sing. I say this with no disrespect to them, but you only have to see their own reactions during her songs to know that she's much better than them. Thanks to this show for not being honest, but above all for not being so obviously honest. Thanks for this reaction
She was 4th? I knew she didnt win, but thought she was placed Higher. No idea how they actually judge or score, but it does seem inconceivable like you say.
Then again i havent seen all performances, so im not in a place to make a judgement.
I do hope she gained new fans and exposure, because of this show.

China 2024 show, it lets us see his talent once again. The best showcase for Faouzia where she exhibited to the world her talent, her virtuous personality and of course her beauty and as witnesses Dimash Kudaibergen, Chante Moore and Adam Lambert.

He was in Singer 2017/8, is a friend of Dimash's and one of the sweetest faces and persona from that period. This was a fine duet. I hadn't really heard much of Faouzia ('cause I'm too focussed on Dimash:) but she has a lovely voice with a multigenre/multicultural musical approach characteristic of Dimash's.

Yes 🤍 I’ve watched many International Singers participate in this Competition…Paulina G 🇷🇺 Dimash 🇰🇿 Terry 🇹🇼 and my favorite KZ. Tandingan 🇵🇭. They were Incredible Singers and Performers but they understand they will not Win. I love Faouzia’s “I Know”. I shared it with my Sister and she liked it. She has only liked one other Artist and that is Angelina Jordan.

Coz the link that was sent in this comment is the music video one from the movie, that has all of the sound effects from scenes overlayed on top of her voice, to go with the visuals.
So it's kinda hard to hear her vocals clearly in the MV version.
