This song was written and is dedicated for Marc Brueland, a DJ and Tuomas' friend who was terminally ill with liver cancer and died later. The spoken words in the song is Marc.
And they only ever play it live if someone from his family is in the audience.

Beginning of this video, you can see very weak Marc coming on stage, to meet Tuomas. Tuomas usually never come behind mic but this time he did. Marc was already using wheelchair, but could still walk short distance. Nightwish played this song to him.

Nightwish actually brought Marc on stage during one of their concerts when they began their cover of "Walking in the Air"
The first song I liked on that album, back then in 2004, when I bought the album.

I have no idea why someone has credited this to Johanna, she was like 16 when this was written and hadn't even met Tuomas yet. :D
There's a really powerful live performance of this from one of Floor's first shows with Nightwish. The Brueland family was in attendance so even though the song was extra unfamiliar to her and she had to glance at the lyrics every now and then she performed it with beautiful passion and conviction.

Feb 7 sees the release of Nightwish’s new single “Noise”.
Hi Simon, I wasn't sure what Ayreon was, I thought it had to do with guest singers but wasn't sure. Little Man tends to like to jump up when I'm recording ha ha ha. He's heavy puma I call him. ha ha.
Another great Nightwish song (do they even know how to write anything that isn't? haha!). It looks like Little Man was also enjoying the song. I hope you weekend is going well. If you mean the MRI results, yes. It's severe degenerative disc disease. I knew it was bad, but to see it in report form level by level it's quite concerning. Thank you Anne for thoughts and prayers.

@@KellyDeaconKDzJOY Kelly have you explored going on Social Security Disability? Have you talked to a social worker in your hospital about your choices and what services you can get to help you? That is what I had to do. I know what pressure you are under and that doesn't help. Take care....... :-)
