I love your honesty!! You are so so real for letting us know you had to ‚learn’ how to use this palette even though you are a makeup artist and this is your job! Thank you for that! Makes you even more trustworthy.
I feel like this eyeshadow look really made your eyes look a different shade of brown! Which is so neat because I have brown eyes aswell and it’s so hard to find eye looks that make brown eyes stand out
Thanks for always being honest with your experiences. I have always been intrigued by her palettes. I would not mind a smaller version of her palettes. That is a lot of cream product.
Morgan, you’ve got this! For more subtle inspiration, Tania Wells posted her review yesterday and made some beautiful, simple looks! I think those looks would for sure work for you too! ❤
I can tell you appreciate the artistry and innovation behind the palette but it seems like you like the idea of the product more than the product itself
Wow the richer shades look so beautiful on you ❤.I feel red, burgandy and maroon tones really bring out the golden tones of brown eyes and they help pop the eyes . I have brown eyes and I love these shades as a one and done shadow/ liner .
I have DM Groundworks Neutrals palette didn't really care for the cream formula. The pigmentation wasn't there and it took a while to build up the colors. Prefer my Viseart's neutral palette. Going to try this brighter palette. Love your look!
I actually bought it on early release from Sephora, I have not used it yet but it is beautiful! I do think I would like to buy the neutral one too but I knew as soon as I saw this one that it was just too beautiful to pass up. I don’t think when the first palette launched that I understood that it was like all-in-one face palette, I just was picturing it as a neutral palette like the Patrick Ta or Makeup By Mario, etc.. (though I will say aesthetically of all the neutral spectrum palettes that came out in the last half of 2023 the neutral Groundworks palette I literally did have to stop myself from buying because I didn’t think I’d use it much, but I am thinking I was wrong). I only just saw a video of people using it to color correct/conceal when I was looking up info about this new pinkier palette and I was like whattttt! Danessa Myricks is so wonderful and innovative, what gorgeous products I’m so excited to see what she does next! Thank you for sharing, I am glad I saw this before I applied the palette to my face/eyes because I am not a professional, and knowing that this is a unique product that is going to function differently than what I am used to is incredibly helpful so I don’t end up frustrated or trying to force it to be something it isn’t💕❤️✨
I’ve been watching tutorials as others play with it to prepare for when I finally dig in. I appreciate your showing your previous try. Your look turned out great. I like this palette more than the other because I love blush.
I really appreciate your honesty, Morgan, regarding the struggles u had with this palette. It’s not only relatable but also makes me feel better bc using this palette can be slightly intimidating with the different textures etc. Love me some Danessa Myricks though & totally agree she is the new “it” brand!!! 😘
These formulas are soooo easy to use...they blend themselves and I am nowhere nearly as talented as MT ❤ but they're intuitive and AMAZING for those of us less than pro. Promise 🙏
I think the pomades are bigger because they also are meant to be used to colour correct, on the lips etc unlike the powders. I’m confused about why you use eye primer when the pomades basically primes? That’s how I see it at least, but maybe I’m wrong. I would consider the pomades as primers to the eye and then put the powders on top to set and get the actual colour And Morgan this look you created is STUNNING. Love the colours. You obviously do know how to use it😆
I don’t care how you use it you have sold me on the palette and you are a great makeup artist and influencer hence why i always watch you❤❤❤❤ It’s definetly going to take me a lot of practice but im gona use it the best way i can with the help of you!!!! Thanks so much for your honesty😊😊😊
I haven’t been this is excited about a palette for a long time. Even just shadows I won’t buy a palette unless I will use most, if not all shades because I already own so many I’ve never seen such an innovative palette that I can use all over my face and all the shades work for me in some sort of way. Planning on picking it up during the Sephora sale.
You nailed this look, Morgan! Beautiful shades in this palette and like the concept. But I feel like it is too much work, even for experienced makeup artists.
I got it. I’ve used it a few times now. I love the brown groundworks. One look I did with the blooming palette came out too red for me. It was the brightest red so I moved to the brown palette to give me a blush in that one. This is my favorite formula!
Thank you so much for this video, Morgan! I think the looks are beautiful and very vibrant on you! I’m on the fence about buying it, and I appreciate your honest review!
I’m struggling with this palette as well but I love the color story and formulation so much that I think I’m going to keep it. I’m going to use the white color fix as a base to try and get a higher vibrancy from the colors from the blooming groundworks palette
I am enjoying the palette so far. For lips, I like a dark pomade as liner, a lighter pomade in the center, and a gloss on top. I haven't experienced any problems.
I'm so torn about this one. I really love the first one and just knew I would get this new one because of the shades. But then ESUM released their new palette. Choices, choices. Thanks for the review!
I got a Danessa Myrics holographic eyeliner in Amathyst. It goes on, and certain shifts from an invisible until it turns purple in certain light! It's my first try of her line. I love her so much. It was in a Boxy by Ipsy monthly box. I was sitting in disbelief! 😂 DM in Boxy! Yeah! 😂❤😊 I am not a fan of cream to powder. I agree those are tiny pans. However, they are removable. Awesome, pawsome. 👌 A pass for me. Your look is beautiful.
I think you did a wonderful job, dear Morgan, the look is fabulous, like all your looks!!!🤩🤩🤩🤩I purchased the palette, influenced by my dear friend Chelsea from GlamGirlChelsea, she does miracles with all Danessa Myricks makeup and also with these palettes, although she never asked me to purchase these, of course, that's not Chels. But, after almost a year, i thought, yes Chels, now i want it, with the first palette added to this one, so now, 2 of these palettes, and of course i can chat with her when i have questions! I see myself using both, combining them, i think! Not for lips is also my thought, like your thought is, Morgan, but maybe Chels has another 1001 idea's for a smooth solution for that, as she has for a whole Danessa Myricks face, we will see! Maybe it will make me feel like a makeup artist, no, joking, another simple consumer subscriber here as you know, i do not want to (much) to work for the makeup, the makeup has to work for me, simple. Great review, and loved the eyelook, great on your brown eyes!!!! You will ROCK also this palette more and more, because you ARE a makeup artist, Morgan!!! Have a wonderful day!!!😘😘😘😘
The colors look completely different in your video compared to the photos on the Beautylish and Sephora websites. To the point where I wonder whether there's been a mistake. For example the pallet you're working from has bright reds and there's nothing even close to reds in the pictures on the websites.
Morgan's videos always run red. I think it's her camera. I love her reviews and techniques, but i find her swatches are inaccurate with anything warm toned.
Yes 🎉 early first, Hi beautiful Morgan, can’t wait to see and hear your thoughts, those colors of eyeshadow look beautiful, know let’s keep watching watching 😊 🥰❤️🌸
It’s gorgeous Morgan, and beautiful palette too. I’ve turned into a high maintenance beyotch and literally cannot seem to blend out any shadows outside of the Tom ford…😢
Unfortunately no matter what I did this formula creased and looked so patchy after an hour of wear . Not for me … loved the look you created . Did same look with pat McGrath last mothership palette .
Morgan you are amazing talented!!!! ❤️ 🎉 Girl i love ur transparency thank you, i personally will not buy it, it does not inspire me enough and that small size pan i do not find easy for the brush so a face brush will be different to use, just likw the cream pans. so it is a pass for me
Girlie please please somehow show us what went down with that first look!!! I feel like that could be so teachable not just for this palette but for makeup in general... How many of us go through the whole journey every day..... I'd love to see how you found your way.
One difficulty with this palette may be that the colors don’t differ so much on the skin. It would be easy for a bunch of colors to just blend into a reddish blob.
Morgan, you created an awesome look with this palette. I love the eyes, blush & lips. It does look difficult to use maybe a learning curve & lots of practice. Thanks for making a second attempt I think it looks great! 😊❤️
No, red eyes have never done it for me. Ive seen some chinese girls with red eyeshadow, pulled right out at the sides, and it suits them....but me, just looks like ive been crying or have the flu!!😂😂😂
My problem with this palette and the original is I’d want the sizes of the creams vs powders swapped. In much more likely to use powders but those are in the smaller pans
So, is the pomade like the blurring gel foundation in the compact or the blush? That may explain why they are sheer. Same formula. I find the blush which is a saturated color in the pan goes on really sheer.
Does the putty shades crease on your eyes even if you set them with powder? I’m thinking of buying this with a gift voucher I got but I have notoriously creasy eyelids so unsure if it’s right for me!
I hope Danessa Myricks' makes a peach/brown themed Groundwork palette soon!
Or gold/orange/bronze/peach for warm skin.
Yessss. Kind of like a combo of both so it can work for blush + bronzer
Danessa Myricks' line is what Pat McGrath's could be: innovative, artist-driven formulas and shades.
😬😂
Na she has been forgotten already as been asked over and over and has not changed !!
I mean if Pat had any control over the final say then I’m sure it would be, as for now I’m here praying for that kendo contract to end
BIG FACTS!!!!
AGREED
I love your honesty!! You are so so real for letting us know you had to ‚learn’ how to use this palette even though you are a makeup artist and this is your job! Thank you for that! Makes you even more trustworthy.

Morgan, you’ve got this! For more subtle inspiration, Tania Wells posted her review yesterday and made some beautiful, simple looks! I think those looks would for sure work for you too! ❤
I’ve tried to watch her but she talks too nasal-y for me to enjoy and stay 😵💫
I can tell you appreciate the artistry and innovation behind the palette but it seems like you like the idea of the product more than the product itself
Wow the richer shades look so beautiful on you ❤.I feel red, burgandy and maroon tones really bring out the golden tones of brown eyes and they help pop the eyes . I have brown eyes and I love these shades as a one and done shadow/ liner .
I think this is such a smart concept!
If I had to start all over with my collection this would be top of the list.
You look stunning!! I am loving both of these groundwork palettes and I'm so glad she released them!!
I am stopping the video to say that - that look you showed that was challenging for you is ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS!!! 😍😍
I have DM Groundworks Neutrals palette didn't really care for the cream formula. The pigmentation wasn't there and it took a while to build up the colors. Prefer my Viseart's neutral palette. Going to try this brighter palette. Love your look!
Danessa has had my favorite products for a long time. I use her Dew Wet Balm daily! She's inspirational!
I actually bought it on early release from Sephora, I have not used it yet but it is beautiful! I do think I would like to buy the neutral one too but I knew as soon as I saw this one that it was just too beautiful to pass up. Congrats on meeting Danessa Myricks herself! So proud of how far you’ve come! ❤
I’ve been watching tutorials as others play with it to prepare for when I finally dig in. I appreciate your showing your previous try. Your look turned out great. I like this palette more than the other because I love blush.
Danessa Myricks is a genius! PeriodT. Love her! #Virgo🥰
I can see myself digging into this pallete everyday and using it alot! The shades are my go to for blush lips and eyes just stunning
I loved the pink look you made, amazing review! ❤
Thank you so much!!
Thìs eye-look is stunning!
These are my kind of tones 😍
Pretty palette but seems complicated to use. Small shadows pan. Thanks for the review.
These formulas are soooo easy to use...they blend themselves and I am nowhere nearly as talented as MT ❤ but they're intuitive and AMAZING for those of us less than pro. Promise 🙏
Thank you for being honest and saving me some money. I was curious about it. Not anymore. I don’t need a palette that is difficult to work with.
I have the other groundwork one and so wish I had this one.i love these colors
You know that she’s also gonna do a cool-based groundwork palette next!
I hope so I love everything I have used from her so far ! ❤️
This look came together beautifully!
I think the pomades are bigger because they also are meant to be used to colour correct, on the lips etc unlike the powders.
I’m confused about why you use eye primer when the pomades basically primes?
That’s how I see it at least, but maybe I’m wrong. I would consider the pomades as primers to the eye and then put the powders on top to set and get the actual colour
And Morgan this look you created is STUNNING. Love the colours. You obviously do know how to use it😆
From what I've seen, everyone says the pomades crease, including Morgan in this video, so everyone seems to use them on top of a prime
Morgan this look is really pretty (even with the lip color)
I love your honesty! ❤
I had to pick this up the colors make me feel comfortable but also give me a chance to try different colors.
Love the look you created with the palette
Thank you!
The shades on your eye so beautiful 😍
I like adding a little gloss as a topper on the lips after using the pomade.
I haven’t been this is excited about a palette for a long time. You nailed this look, Morgan! Beautiful shades in this palette and like the concept. But I feel like it is too much work, even for experienced makeup artists.
I got mine a few days ago and only used it once. I really like it but I prefer the first one too.
I think for me will be a challenge but i just cant stop thinking about this palette is so beautiful!
Beautiful look I am very much leaning towards getting this palette I have the first one and I love it 💜 thanks Morgan great review and tutorial 💜🌻✌🏻
I have both and love them and I think you will enjoy this new one.
I have absolutely gone off makeup these days BUT this is so innovative I’m interested
I got it. I’ve used it a few times now. I love the brown groundworks. One look I did with the blooming palette came out too red for me. It was the brightest red so I moved to the brown palette to give me a blush in that one. This is my favorite formula!

I am enjoying the palette so far. For lips, I like a dark pomade as liner, a lighter pomade in the center, and a gloss on top. I haven't experienced any problems.
Thank you so much I was kinda lost on how to use the pomade.
LOVEEEEEE the eyes😍
I'm so torn about this one. I really love the first one and just knew I would get this new one because of the shades. But then ESUM released their new palette. Choices, choices. Thanks for the review!
I hope she makes a terracotta themed palette next

Never used DM before but these colors are beautiful.
The colors look completely different in your video compared to the photos on the Beautylish and Sephora websites. To the point where I wonder whether there's been a mistake. For example the pallet you're working from has bright reds and there's nothing even close to reds in the pictures on the websites.
Yesss!! And the top row looks grey online, hers is pink! Lol what.... 🙃
These colors you’re seeing here are not accurate. I have this and it’s all much more muted
Morgan's videos always run red. I think it's her camera. I love her reviews and techniques, but i find her swatches are inaccurate with anything warm toned.
Totally agree. Her camera is totally off. Doesn't look like the same palette
Her videos are much more saturated.
Getting mine on Monday. Can’t wait🩷🩷💯👍🏾.
Yes 🎉 early first, Hi beautiful Morgan, can’t wait to see and hear your thoughts, those colors of eyeshadow look beautiful, know let’s keep watching watching 😊 🥰❤️🌸
I would love the powder formula with larger pans as pressed setting powders
these palettes wake up the makeup artist in me lol I saw them and immediately became Bob Ross
Wonderful review! OMG ❤
It’s gorgeous Morgan, and beautiful palette too. I’ve turned into a high maintenance beyotch and literally cannot seem to blend out any shadows outside of the Tom ford…😢
You have really really good application skills so if this is the best out of the palette it sucks for how hard you worked
My palette came today. I can’t wait to use it tomorrow!
Ooooooh I've been waiting for your review of this one!!
Love the look stunning 😍
I purchased in the Beautylish Gift Card event. I brok my no buy😅😢. But Im still excited.
Absolutely beautiful ❌️⭕️
I love it! I will buy it sure!!
Thanks for the honest review!! I feel the same way
Unfortunately no matter what I did this formula creased and looked so patchy after an hour of wear . Not for me … loved the look you created . Did same look with pat McGrath last mothership palette .
That’s what I think as well. I love the idea but I’m sure of you have any PMG palettes, the looks can be recreated easily.
Morgan you are amazing talented!!!! ❤️ 🎉 Girl i love ur transparency thank you, i personally will not buy it, it does not inspire me enough and that small size pan i do not find easy for the brush so a face brush will be different to use, just likw the cream pans. so it is a pass for me
Great mine shows up tomorrow I hope i can create something with it lol. Btw i love the look you did!🤞
If you can't make it look like it's super easy, I would be hopeless. I have only just figured out how to get my blending to match. LOL
Thank you for these awesome daily doses of makeup, Morgan. I was wondering which camera you use for shooting your videos.
Girlie please please somehow show us what went down with that first look!!! I feel like that could be so teachable not just for this palette but for makeup in general... How many of us go through the whole journey every day..... I'd love to see how you found your way.
Would it be worth mixing and matching from both pallets by taking them out and rearranging them?
Is it true Danessa is going to release these eyeshadows in singles...would love a blend of both pallets for a full face!
I just got one and it didn’t go well the first time. Hoping you can teach me something.
I can appreciate the palette, especially for makeup artists but I can't see this being practical for the average person!
Eek I got both palettes in my bag for the Sephora sale !!
Love it!!!!!!❤
I was excited to buy it but if you said you struggled to use it, i’m scared to buy it 🤣🤣
One difficulty with this palette may be that the colors don’t differ so much on the skin. It would be easy for a bunch of colors to just blend into a reddish blob.
Morgan, you created an awesome look with this palette. I love the eyes, blush & lips. It does look difficult to use maybe a learning curve & lots of practice. Thanks for making a second attempt I think it looks great! 😊❤️
I think you should do a full face of danessa myrick
No, red eyes have never done it for me. Ive seen some chinese girls with red eyeshadow, pulled right out at the sides, and it suits them....but me, just looks like ive been crying or have the flu!!😂😂😂
Hello beautiful Morgan 😍
My problem with this palette and the original is I’d want the sizes of the creams vs powders swapped. In much more likely to use powders but those are in the smaller pans
Yess!!!!! I clicked so fast 🏃♀️ 🤭🥳
So, is the pomade like the blurring gel foundation in the compact or the blush? That may explain why they are sheer. Same formula. I find the blush which is a saturated color in the pan goes on really sheer.
Foundation/Blush are more true to a cream! These are more putty-like/dry
Does the putty shades crease on your eyes even if you set them with powder? I’m thinking of buying this with a gift voucher I got but I have notoriously creasy eyelids so unsure if it’s right for me!
Salut, je trouve cette palette très pigmentée et les teintes sont plutôt orientées pour les peaux foncées.
So excited for your opinion😊
What liner did you use?
Got mine 2 days ago but haven't tried yet
Hi Morgan 😊
Quite difficult to use on the eyes... Not for me, I prefer liquid or power formulas😊
cute❤
Comparison to the old one?
The colors look like face palette to me. I don't need that much pink.
