I was a victim of treachery. Having recalled Dante, I went through the internet to see what he had to say about it (after reading the Inferno decades ago). Thank you for your video. I must agree with Dante, that at the moment of betrayal, the sinner loses his soul. There is no redemption from that point forward. It’s not that the person is undeserving of salvation, but that they just stopped being human at that point. And only a human (with a soul) can be redeemed. It’s not about being damned by an external force (like being judged), but about damning oneself to hell, a choice one makes for himself, after which there is no recovery or salvation.
