How I made a standing studio desk

Throughout most of 2020 I was working on my new sit-stand studio desk with traditional ornaments. It was very much a DIY ordeal, with no workshop and very few tools, but I've learnt so much in the process!
I wanted to share with you the whole project from start to finish, with every pitfall and every little victory, while also showing the thought process behind it. I hope it will inspire you to create something beautiful, even if you have no previous expertise. All you need is patience.
