It's really enjoyable to see an artist building up his work from scratch. Your apparently random lines hide a lot of experience behind. Great kind of videos.
Thanks Javi, I appreciate that a lot! While there’s so much for me still to learn, I can even see myself that I’m much more comfortable just quickly throwing down lines. Especially for the sketch. My work was significantly more rigid just a few years ago. It’s really true that you can’t replace practice and putting in the time.
Thank you for your work! I have been improving a lot this week end because i found your channel and bought a few of your kits :) It is just not possible for me to have a top result because i do it on the computer with the mouse rather than a tablet, but still, I am grateful for your tips!
I love these videos so much. They're inspiring to draw maps again and I'm getting so many informations from you, that I can understand the drawing process better and better. I really learn better from video tutorials than from text and pictures only. 😅 I still love your blog, too, but... well, I reeeaaally enjoy the videos!!! 🙏💖 Hope, you're doing some more in the future. 😊😄 They are definitely worth the work you have with them. ❤ Thank you so much. 🫶🥰
Thank you so much, that means a lot to hear. I definitely hope to doing more videos soon. I’m currently working on building an art studio which is taking up a lot of my time haha. But part of the reason for building the studio is to make it easier for me to produce video 👍
@@MapEffects That's great! An art studio, ahw, in two and a half year maybe I will have the space too to make me some kind of art studio. I hope you have fun building yours. It's certainly fun to set everything up and make it your own personal creative workspace. Sounds pretty cool. 😊 By the way, I think an online course on map drawing from you would be by all means very interesting. Maybe you give it a thought (or two 😉), I'd be definitely in. 😊
I am using the Procreate App on an IPad Pro 11, with the 2nd Gen Apple Pencil 👍. The Apprentice Brushes I’m using are also compatible with Photoshop, Clip Studio Paint, and Infinite Painter.

Thanks for the tips 😃
Nice music choice for the background. Not so intrusive and has a LotR / Fantasy vibe.
Glad you enjoyed! I tried to go with a little more ambient music as well so I’m glad you found it appropriate. I always appreciate the feedback 😀
