I split the housing on mine using Teflon tape. I recommend thread sealer!
Very sad, I did the same thing... With the pressure sensor. I was on the phone as I was tightening it down with a special socket and cracked it. eBay to the rescue.

mine turns pretty hard is that common?
Basically it should move easily as there are no tight tolerances on it. Something isn't right if you cannot rotate it with your hand.
@@simonmaron I can rotate it with my hand but its not a free spin so to say
