- Supporters of the Claudia De la Cruz/Karina Garcia 2024 socialist presidential campaign gathered in Newark, New Jersey on January 28. Claudia, Karina and prominent activists spoke about how we need to build a real alternative to the ruling class parties.
The two capitalist parties claim to be the only “real” options for people in this country, but every day they prove themselves to be committed to exploitation, war, and destroying our planet to make more profits for the super-rich. We launched this campaign with the main goal of building the movement for socialism and liberation, but also to cut through the lie that we have to always choose the “lesser of two evils.” Both the Democrats and Republicans serve CEO’s, bankers, and Wall Street - but each and every volunteer shows that the working class and oppressed people in this country want and need our own party!

I was watching another podcast and one of the people said to vote through our morality.
And as much as I admire some of the other third party candidates I stand with Claudia.
She’s spunky, courageous, inspiring, humble and brings life back into our movement for Justice and peace for everyone.

@@jxy7096the entire system is rigged against it. The only viable way for real socialists and progressives to gain power is from the ground up, slowly through local elections up to the state, and changing election laws and restrictions around ballot access

Thank you for reposting Sunday's live stream! I wholeheartedly support this campaign, and I thank the PSL so much for organizing it. The people need this well organized movement for socialism at this exact moment in history. This is the one and only presidential campaign that I endorse in 2024.

I have come to understand that the reason that movements aren't able to move as fast as we need it to is because our movements fail to do the necessary first step, which is honest true real PERCEPTION CHANGE - and what I mean by this is that people have to acknowledge and understand their indoctrination and the propagandizing of their minds (especially in childhood), working through their indoctrination and the overwhelming propaganda (imperialism, colonialism, capitalism, etc.) through a process of UNLEARNING before they can even begin to LEARN a new direction away from that indoctrination and propaganda. Our movements continually try to skip this completely necessary first step and without doing it we can't overcome the cognitive dissonance wall that is built up through indoctrination/propaganda. This is the way forward to get from tens of thousands of minds to millions and billions of minds.
This BRINGS HHOPE,,, we the people have the power to make our government do it’s job, health care, should not be a luxury IT IS A human right , so is HOUSING, EDUCATION, amongg, Many more rights .

No. PSL’s campaign is a recruiting drive. They need to recruit college kids to be Biden’s protest squad. They hate most of the working class. They are just a woke countergang.
If you look at the primary currently there is a starling majority vote of "none of these candidates". We also have a large socialist population in the country now, and it seems that this campaign may be desirable to them.
Are you surprised that an explicitly anti-capitalist social movement is suppressed on Corporate YT and in Mainstream Media? I'm not. Lee Camp, Abby Martin, Richard Wolff, Peter Joseph know all about this if you check out their work and their views. Important work, but deeply suppressed!
Campaign is just beginning, really. Hopefully they'll get more support by getting on some podcasts or shows with more audience like BreakThrough News, The Real News Network, and others like that.

Hitler was not a socialist; the first people he exterminated were the socialists and communists. Does that sound like something a socialist would do? Also, the term "privatization" was coined to describe the economic actions of the third reich... again, antithetical to socialist ideology.
