This went by so fast, I was that captivated. Love the aesthetic, the voiceover, the acting. Everything was amazing. Can’t wait to get Artak and can’t wait for the other episodes.

I chose Galek as my first champion and he’s been my favorite ever since! This backstory just made him even better as a character!

Gotta roll with him. Also chose him as my first. At the beginning i was like i want all my heroes to be orcs😂😂😂. No more. I want to see other heroes' backstories before making a chose.
Never given Galek more than a passing glance. With a backstory like THAT I am going to have to revisit him for a potential place of honor!

@@dttra566 it was the blue that clued me into it at the end given they ended up at the cruch. But if you go look at her again, the hair colour (well as much as you can tell with a baby) and the colour of the cloth screams that that is young Athel.

IIRC the snowball fight was between Zargala and Galek in one of the Christmas themes. While the skating in the snow Christmas theme had Galek, Athel and Kael.

Freaking awesome!!! I could feel that emotion in Galek when he had to choose. Also can't wait for episode 2 and I already know that baby was Athel, so beautiful Galek saved her.

I was never the biggest Raid enthusiast, but the story always stood out to me as a sort of fantasy epic, not unlike one you might find from Dungeons and Dragons. This certailnly builds this notion further. Well done Raid!
Revenge, genocide, redemption, self discovery, responsibility describes this episode pretty well. This series looks pretty good so far! Cant wait for the next episode!

What words do I characterize this episode: good, evil, choice, responsibility, sympathy, compassion and revenge. And I loved the miniseries.

Very powerful! Such a captivating story in such a short time span. The dynamic between Galek and his dad. Wow. Can't wait to play Artak. Is that baby Athel? God Seeker was a nice touch. It's so cool seeing the characters come to life. You did amazing with bringing the lore to life. My only complaint is this is too short! We need MORE! A LOT more!

@@RaidShadowLegends Now you just gotta reduce those prices and give us better odds at getting legendaries and you'll be doing a great job, maybe increase that energy cost or reduce energy prices.
I had higher (probably unrealistic, in hindsight) expectations for the quality of the animation, but I genuinely liked this. As a guy who grew up playing with He-Man vs. Skelator, I'm telling you this franchise is a goldmine for action figures and cartoons of you get good writers.
This is well done, way above expectations. Can't wait for the rest

@@RaidShadowLegends That is for sure. The ads for Raid made Galek seem like a jerk to say the least, but not to the point where I hated him. He just seemed full of himself at times, so it’s nice to see his backstory more fleshed out, and it’s great to see that he has a decently strong moral compass.
I never regret chossing Galek as my first champ.He is still one of my favorites!
I started with galek. This feels like redemption love it
galek is literally the worst login champ... Doesn't have 2 aoe like Elhain, doesn't have poisions like Kael.. No special debuff like Athel.
Athel might only be worse since her animations are soooooooooooo SLOW

This was a nice little episode. Digging into a champion's backstory and mindset along with the Arbiter chosing her champions from all walks of life is always a amazing trope in storytelling.
It reminds me a bit of the lands of Arran comic book series which has a different protag in each volume but set in the same world whose consequences can be felt in each volume.
As for Galek, he is what I expect a proper orc to be like. Honourable, fighting those who can fight back. A code of conduct.
I can't wait to see the other episodes!

This was an amazing episode and a great way to kick of the series. The visuals were on point, the musical score was beautiful and the overall message was great. Plus it's nice to learn that Galek saved Athel when she was a baby and was the one to bring her to the church and the Sacred Order. He's definitely a true warrior with a noble heart and is definitely worthy of being chosen by the Arbiter. Plus Athel was my starter champ, and knew she would have such an interesting backstory. Now learning that she was saved by Galek as a baby just makes everything even more beautiful (also if read the lore for both Galek and Athel, they actually reference this episode). I hope Athel finds out that it was Galek that saved her as a baby, because that would be beautiful. I'm definitely looking forward to the next episode which is about Athel and learn more about my starter champ that I chose. Great job Raid and I can't wait to see what comes next.
P.s. I also think Galek would get along nicely with Thrall a lot.

I am seriously in awe of how much storytelling, drama, and emotion is captured in a six minute animated short. Insanely creative, awesomely acted and voiced and I just know that the baby Galek saves is Athel if I read her Lore correctly ha ha. Amazing Job Raid: Shadow Legends. I would LOVE a full length film, the lore is rich and compelling.

A full length film would be amazing, and if done right, then I think that a Raid mmorpg with an open world is guaranteed. The thing Raid has to get right is execution. If the series and a possible movie fail, well then kiss the idea of a bigger Raid franchise goodbye.
I came into this game from misplay... then i wanted to check this out just out of curiosity as i normally don't watch these things... how quickly i was drawn in. Very well done! I actually felt this.
Thats just amazing it reminds me of blizzards Cinematrix back in the day when they had substance and heart.
Galek also reminds me of Thrall, who lead his orcs into a better, more peaceful life.

This is why I always decided to be in the Orc tribe. They may be aggressive, raid people's land, and kills the innocents people that were responsible of the deaths of their kind. But some Orcs aren't always evil or cruel. They do have a souls and a heart just like the humans, and the elves.

THIS IS SO SICK! The only complaint I have is that IT SHOULD BE LONGER! We want more Plarium! A full length show or even a series of movies would be seriously amazing. (Mortu has to be the big bad for the first movie but then a small, frail little Paragon rolls up to defeat him in his castle) lmao
