I feel in a lot of modern cartoons have fallen into the need of making their main characters always as good as possible. They are kind generous people that always put others above themselves. Whenever they do wrong, is usually for a very understandable reason, and they always have to end up learning a lesson at the end of the episode and becoming better because of it this is why I think characters like Gumball are refreshing. Cause let's be honest, gumball is kind of a dick. he's self centered, sarcastic and selfish. there's no empathetic reason for the shit he does, there's no lesson he has to learn at the end of the episode, he doesn't improve, he's just the way he is, and is extremely fun to watch him be like that
It depends. Gumball works because he's in a comedy show, and there are characters who are as unhinged as him or even more. Also there are some morals in the show, Gumball does get the punished for his actions, but the show doesn't go the typical end-of-episode life lessons most kid shows do. I mean Captain Marvel is also a self-centred asshole and a protagonist, but people shit on her constantly. It's much more nuanced than just making the main character an jerk and call it a day.

9:05 I wish I could've seen Gumball actually fight
Same
*THE WAY HE CRACKS HIS KNUCKLES-*
I don't think there alive anymore😳
He murdered the kids
There is a episode where they fight but idk what it's called.
4:59 That’s some MeatCanyon stuff 💀
Gumball canonically committed murder, attempted murder, and even conspiracy to commit a felony. Before the age of 15.
Thankfully, the Void sucks the memories out of people in order to keep the show going.
@@vetarlittorf1807 If it wasn’t for that, Juvenile would be the least of Gumball’s problems
9:51 literally turned into a jojo character💀
It's actually a reference to Yaranaika
Jojo mid adventure
He became Jonathan
2:01 Now I need Gumball in Kombat pack 3
6:28 that cut 😂
0:57 *How rich people handle consequences*
So true
Gumball is one of the funniest kids cartoons even at 21 this is still hilarious. Why cant more children shows be like this slightly edgy humor but still fun and innocent
9:24 notice the picture with leslie
Where?
@@luannacartoon2510
On the right, mere seconds before the zoom in of "Alan" kissing the toilet
@@mylyfeyafizzlahyahnue I don’t see it
i wonder why that's there
@@ShazzledWolf32
Well, for a brief moment it was a picture that had "Alan" kissing Leslie, and Leslie seemed actually pleasant, like he enjoyed the kiss.
Gumball is the only kid show that could get away with selling someone
The chase of Leslie is better than most horror movies made now 😂
1:11 Gumball: Kills a bunch of fish in front of a fish

1:49 nicole running at the back just tells me a literal natural disaster happened

Most likely from principal brown but still why does he need it 💀

Hemorrhoid, most likely.

Been trying to mimic that voice ever since I heard it
3:18 at least they contribute something to society.
Not anymore now
Let's be real this show made us laugh more than American dad and more it didn't even have to cross the children's line to be love by the adults😂😂😂
Best of CN sitcom 💯
definetely need to rewatch gumball, i stopped watching cable around when gumball was brand new, around the first couple seasons, or whenever steven universe was brand new
“Now use me as a pencil sharpener” *IS LITERALLY BENDING DOWN*
9:23 still kinda mad they censored Leslie getting kissed and enjoying it

4:08, This is why I see Darwin as a complete idiot. Innocent mugging victim, with a suitcase full of cash?! I'm pretty sure that he's a payoff suspect if not a bank robbery suspect!
@@SuperNovaBass73 No, if it was a deposit of that much money it would either be transported in an armored truck, or it would be deposited in the form of a check. Besides, what sort of complete idiot would carelessly carry around that much money in public without any form of security?
@@SuperNovaBass73 Exactly.
If you watch the episodes with him you'd know he's just rich the reason his money wasn't transported in an armored truck is because this is a cartoon
Don’t forget. Darwin literally became a dictator in the name of Safety
@@ShadowKitty7908 Exactly! And it's all because of the fact that he misunderstood a cheap, old, cheap, vhs video!

This is the most chaotic non-adult show I've ever seen. Holy crap, how did they get away with so much?
Crazy how in a kid friendly show Gumball almost (or has killed) people at least 3 or 4 times
I was about to wonder on why Gumball hasn't been arrested, but I remember he has before, if not he only had a slap on the wrist.

That green ballon is a kind of psychopath
0:24 there is something deep wrong with alan.
You could say the same for Gumball, considering he sold them, filmed their suffering, and showed it to their kid just to prove a point.
😨
@@MegaManXPoweredUp fair point but alan is just smiling away, he's not even in distressed as parents are practically being tortured.

I love how you left the clip of Gumball eating the meatball for the last. Idk if it was because Gumball himself considered it his worst action on that episode or if its because Alan says that he always leaves the meatballs for the last, but im genuinely convinced that you did it on purpose and i gotta appreciate the detail lol
