Hi there, I would do but unfortunately my VHS player has been broken for a number of years now (I can't even remember the last time I watched a VHS) and also the tape I recorded it on wasn't labelled so it would be pretty hard to find, particularly as I have moved house since. Sorry about that, maybe when I can find time to fix my VHS player I'll see if I can find it!😃
I think it's kind of disrepectful to cut off QuizMania without like the presenter saying goodbye or something. And also I don't know why the announcer Mark Manchester didn't apologise for the loss of it and went into a possible pre-recorded announcement before going into ITV Nightscreen. That sometimes happens on TV when they cut off in the middle of the show without notice. They would of ended the show perfectly if they didn't have the logo on the screen for 10 seconds, that's possibly why ITV cut it off like that.
Was talking about this to a couple of people on the old TV Forum a little while ago, basically it had hit the scheduled end time of the programme and the automation did its thing and cut the feed off. It's a 'win lose' situation, if it was the FA Cup final and the game went into extra time, then the programme would definitely be allowed more air-time (especially if it went to pens!) but if it's so Steve from Northampton can collect an extra £100 by guessing "vacuum" or whatever, not so much.
I think it showed ITV night screen because the show that said *D O E S A N A E R O P L A N E H A V E W I N G S?* had the breakdown lasted the whole credits and promos that might of aired back then.
“Does an aero plane have wings?”
That fact was so obvious that itv 1 went off air!
On this day 16 years ago:
Does an airplane have wings? We still don't know the answer
Answer I found: Technically. We don’t call them wings. We call them airfoils.
"Does an aeroplane have wings?"
*FAMOUS LAST WORDS*
some questions are best left unanswered
I'd like to see them have breakdowns during every episode of Love Island. Also, it's nice to hear a high quality version of that breakdown music.
i think its a completely different song we can play that they copyrighted, let me check.

Have to say I love the music, I think I have a breakdown recorded myself from around that period with the same music.
Interesting I remember you mentioning it in a comment that it was during the Paul O'Grady show, are you able to upload it somewhere?

*WE'LL NEVER KNOW*
I don’t know why but that music haunts me
Hey, do you have any footage of an itv 1(?) Slide from 2000-01? It had music like this and had one of the blue slides with just the logo on it.
Does an aeroplane have wings?
Music: Alan Hawkshaw - Ripples in a pond
2:43 there’s no announcer of itv 1 saying sorry about the technical problems
I think because the announcer was sleeping
Lmao
yes they do.
An airplane does *not* have wings because one just crashed into the studio.
XDDDDdDdDd
ah yes, 22/2, a remembered day across history.

ITV: Dies of cringe

Planes do have wings
Well does it?

I wonder what the bonus £200,000 came from...
There’s ITV Nightscreen at the end.
