I trainspot around Birmingham New Street regularly, here's my advice to navigating the labyrinth that is the station: If you are coming into New Street and changing trains (e.g. From the Cross City Line) make sure you leave the platforms in the red zone. This allows you to access every other platform. If you prefer a quieter route and don't mind taking some stairs, head to the very end of the platform for a passageway that connects all platforms. If you are new to the station, make sure to leave some time to navigate it as it is very confusing! If you ever don't know where to go, you can either go to the red zone, or ask one of the many members of staff. Hope everyone is doing great, and safe travels!
@@millie4988 your welcome In my opinion delays can be and where from 5 minutes to cancelled.You can see customer reviews on trip advisor for this service Avanti from Birmingham to London the reviews are quite bad.Having said that you might get lucky or you could book with another company.Hope this helps👍
