I was raised by a right-wing mother, and one of the most valuable lessons she taught me is that even though people will disagree with me, I should still honor their worldview, considering it's neither right nor wrong-it's simply different from my own. So, when it comes to liberals and conservatives, I'll happily accept their views. However, when it comes to my limits with both, I really don't like it when those on the left see someone who disagrees with them and just scoff, saying, "Oh, you're just stupid and uneducated." Why should I bother with people who already think so low of me? On the other hand, when it comes to right-wingers, I don't deal with the ones who are legitimate neo-Nazis or fascists. I don't use those terms lightly or toss them at people I simply don't like or disagree with. I'm talking about the actual anti-Semites, the actual racists, and the actual homophobes. But nobody wants to talk about those folks because they're hidden away, and instead, it's easier to target people who made stupid jokes about racial or religious stereotypes.
This, I grew up in left-wing and is still (mostly) left-wing and something I will say is, a lot of them are super egotistical… If you don’t agree your stupid to them and honestly don’t even talk to those kinds bc they aren’t there for an genuine conversation if it’s not about their side.

Ironically enough, I kinda figured that this was the mindset she had. Bottom line is, I've been in a similar situation with being young and confused about complex things like gender identity. Now I'm an adult and living out in "the real world". People can change and I feel like many people forget the nuances of mental maturity when people double down as teenagers. 😅👍

I remember that! The important thing is that you learned from it and moved on. I'm so glad you weren't cancelled. We would have missed out on the brilliance of a young artist with a lot to show the world, and we would have been sorely affected by the loss. That being said, I get it. Back when Barack Obama was president over here, I was a left leaning centrist. I shared a lot of views with the conservatives here, as well as the liberals. But I was not an educated voter then, either. Since then, I have thrown myself into politics to learn and try to get a better grasp at what was really happening. And while I have a few learning disabilities, I think I'm pretty on top of most if it now, and am now a registered Democrat. I also dropped religion (catholicism) like the nuclear potato it is, and that really helped my empath side come back to me, and help me go full democrat. I have no regrets in this decision. So I get it, we've been on similar journeys, and I think you've done your best to apologize to those who were offended, but imo, you don't owe anyone anything else 4 years later. People need to move on already.

Anything I didn't mention in the video is things I've forgotten that I did due to how much happened at the time and because years have past. Could you tell me who it was so that I can go apologise? With things like that I'd prefer to apologise to the person personally instead of in a video.

The past is in the past, what matters is that you are a better person now. Its okay to have opinions and whatnot and its okay to be either left or right wing with your views, what is important is that you do not go to far left or too far right and delve into fanaticism. I believe you should always hear to what people are telling you but never listen to it, you are your own person and as long as you do not cause physical harm its okay.
